The menu selection perfectly embodies the spirit of a classic French bistro. The entrées list is led by highly-praised, substantial dishes. The Steak Au Poivre W/Fries ($27.00), featuring grass-fed hanger steak with a green peppercorn sauce, is a particular standout, frequently cited by patrons as a must-try. Another favorite is the rich and comforting Beef Bourguignon ($24.00), slow-cooked in a red wine reduction with baby carrots, mushrooms, and shallots, served with chive fingerling mashed potatoes. The menu also features delicious alternatives such as the creamy Mushrooms Truffle Risotto ($23.00), a decadent option for those who prefer vegetarian dishes, and the perfectly cooked Grilled Salmon ($25.00) with Caper Meuniére Sauce.
For lighter bites and appetizers, the menu includes traditional bistro favorites that are perfect for sharing. The Cheese & Charcuterie Mixte Plate ($36.00) offers an assortment of chef's-pick cheeses and cured meats. Other 'Other Favorites' include the delicate Crab Cake ($21.00) with a harissa-mayo, and the homestyle Duck Foie Gras ($26.00) served with toast and caramelized figs. The French are masters of the side dish, and here you can indulge in a generous portion of Gratin Dauphinois ($12.00)—potatoes layered in cream, eggs, and cheese—or the slow-cooked vegetable medley, Ratatouille ($11.00). And of course, no French bistro is complete without hand-cut French Fries ($8.00).
The crêpe selection is an essential part of the Bistro So experience, available for both brunch and dinner. Savory options include the Savoyarde ($16.00) with bacon, Camembert, Raclette cheese, potatoes, and onions, and the Norwegian ($16.00) with smoked salmon, poached egg, and Hollandaise sauce. The Bergére ($15.00) with goat cheese, caramelized onions, and figs is another delightful favorite, often highlighted for its savory-sweet balance. For those with a sweet tooth, the desserts, such as Tarte Tatin and Crème Brûlée, are consistently excellent.
The drinks menu is just as impressive, boasting a great wine list perfectly suited to French fare, alongside hard liquor and an impressive array of cocktails. Guests rave about the signature cocktails, and the venue offers Happy Hour for both food and drinks, making it an affordable luxury for mid-week socializing. Adding to the vibrant energy is the highlight of Live Jazz Music on Thursday nights, which truly enhances the ambiance and makes for a lively, memorable night out.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had an early dinner so it wasn't packed. The food was delicious. The camembert fondue was good. It was very cheesy and plentiful that we weren't able to finish it all. The mushroom risotto was my favorite. Super creamy and rich! My boyfriend got the beef bourguignon which was also delicious and filling; he wasn't able to finish it all. Everything was very rich and filling. The service was great. There were no fans or AC where we were first seated, so I was uncomfortably warm. Thankfully, our server moved us to a cooler area and turned on the fan for us.
July 15 · JaeHee KwakI brought my girlfriend here for her birthday over the weekend and it was a perfect experience. We dined outside in their beautifully decorated back patio which had a perfect atmosphere that was both casual/welcoming and romantic. The food was absolutely delicious with beautiful presentation, as was the wine, all for a very reasonable price. And, to top it off, the service was impeccable, friendly and attentive the whole night. We are definitely coming back and I highly recommend it for a nice date night!
August 05 · Benjamin SutinStumbled in out of necessity and discovered a total hidden gem! The vintage, character-filled interior and friendly staff caught my eye immediately. I spotted their espresso machine and ordered an Espresso Martini—and wow, what a pleasant surprise. The drink was rich, fresh, and incredibly delicious. The best part? At just $11, it was the most affordable cocktail I've had in ages. Can't wait to come back!
