-I took my non Haitian friend here as first time trier of Haitian food and I can say he loved every moment of it . The workers were very nice and polite. The lady in the front even gave us another option when what we ordered ran out. The Mac& Cheese had to be my favorite part though . Loads of favor and seasonings 😩. The plantain sandwich was so big I was full for almost a day . I would 100% recommend this place and also will be back thank you 🫶🏽

I believe this is a Haitian spot, and I’ve been to a few of their locations. The plantain sandwich—whether chicken or pork—is always good. I’ve never been disappointed with the food, so I give them 5 stars for taste. Prices are reasonable, and parking isn’t too bad—you can usually double park, grab your food, and go. The neighborhood feels decent and safe.That said, the service at this particular Nostrand Avenue location needs work. I had an uncomfortable experience here—there was a bit of attitude from staff, and that’s not something I tolerate. Good food can lose points if the service doesn’t match. I’d like to see them be friendlier and more understanding, especially when language differences come into play.I’d still recommend their food and may try something new if I return—but I hope they improve their customer service.

My mouth is watering right now, thinking about the food I ate for the first time yesterday from this establishment. Fresh, tasty, spicy, yummy, delicious food. I can go on about how good this food was. I had the fish sandwich, my husband had the pork and chicken, and I also had the passion juice and soup. Everything tastes so good. I can't wait to go back. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the food was freshly prepared when ordered. 5star

First time ever ordering from this spot on Uber Eats and it was a home run ! We were really in the mood for black rice so we ordered black rice, griot, honey bbq plantain sandwiches, and fried filet fish with plantain for myself. Everything was so good and this is not an exaggeration. Their black rice may have been rice and peas accidentally, however still enjoyed. My partner says the sandwich was unique and all the flavors paired well together. My fish was seasoned and fried to perfection. You know it’s good when the pikliz gone too everything done off !!!
