September 14 · henshy koltWe had a beautiful time at Shlomie’s cafe! The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and we truly just felt like we were at home. What a warm, welcoming, fun cafe! Shlomie is generous and very sweet, complementary babka and tea was incredible. תבורך מכל הלב
July 18 · Samantha TaskaleIt’s a stylish, dairy kosher café located away on a quiet street in Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn. The space is exceptionally clean, with a thoughtfully designed interior that reflects the personal touch of its owner. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted warmly by the owner himself—a friendly, multilingual individual who makes you feel more like a cherished guest than just another customer.A black-and-white photograph of his parents hangs on the wall, and classic Israeli music plays softly in the background, adding to the inviting and nostalgic atmosphere. The food is fresh and flavorful, made with high-quality ingredients that you can truly taste. I also appreciated the way everything was beautifully presented.
June 15 · Leah LivshitsWe had an amazing time at Bou'ote. The owner as usual, was super friendly and came out to talk to us about each dish he had and any questions we asked. You can tell he really really enjoys what he does and it's more than just his passion, because at first I ordered a sea-bass sandwich, and after a couple minutes he came out saying that the bread wasn't up to his standards and he doesn't feel comfortable sending it out. Which was something I really appreciated! We ordered the Savory Babka, and it was DELICIOUS! ORDER IT! we ordered the Maryuma which is a style of shakshuka but made differently. (matbucha style). My wife ordered eggs Benedict, and lemonade that came with a delicious cream on top.He also sent out some borscht that he was experimenting with, and some other complimentary things. We had a great time, and a great experience. We will definitely be back!
November 08 · TsurielLovely spot, authentic, and original. The Kreplach are an explosion of delicious flavors. The Maryuma (Shakshuka in Matboucha) is delicious as well.
