★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Indulge in an authentic Chongqing hot pot experience at Hou Hotpot . The menu boasts an extensive selection of broths, ranging from traditional to creatively crafted, ensuring a personalized hot pot base tailored to your taste buds. We pick the dual flavors pot which are pig bones base and the golden spicy and sour soup base. For the ultimate experience we tried their new combo priced at $68.99 . You get your choice of meat , seafood, mushrooms, vegi, noodles and more. The ingredients are beautifully presented on a platter. We also add their popular Ferris Wheel . It has all of our favorite ingredients in one order.Don’t forget to create your own sauce , mix and match to your liking. Overall it was a nice experience. Great service and great decor.
February 13 · Cheryl PinkOfficially now my favourite hot pot place in NYC out of the many places I've tried. Their tofu, root vegetables (taro, lotus etc.), vegetables and mushrooms are fresh and of high quality which sets them apart from other popular places. We got the mushroom broth which was very flavoured. The fried taro and sweet potato mochi balls were yummy. Lots of options for vegetariansAttentive and friendly service. Highly recommend.
March 04 · Mandy KuoI was excited to give this restaurant a try. I love hot pot, so I was ready. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a cute restaurant! My server was Min and Jim, and they were great. My friend and I had mushroom broth and different seafood and noodles. We ordered on the little tablet. It was done fairly quickly, and it was super tasty. We also had peach sake that was tasty. We definitely had a good experience.
November 10 · Des KFWe ordered a the special for $68 and got more food than two of us could eat (and we eat a lot). The shrimp and lotus roots were my favorite but the soup bases were fantastic (tomato and the special mala tang). Service was great, extremely thoughtful, carefully explained everything and even went to make us personalized sauce mixes. It's my new favorite hot pot place in the city!
June 02 · Nick KengmanaWe got way more food than we could even finish, and believe me, we both have pretty big appetites! The variety and portions were super generous. The shrimp and lotus root stood out for me, with their perfect texture and flavor, but honestly, everything we had was delicious. The soup bases, especially the tomato and the special mala tang, were bursting with flavor and really set the tone for the meal. What impressed me just as much as the food, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly attentive, taking the time to carefully explain each dish and even going the extra mile to make us personalized dipping sauce mixes. You could really tell they care about their customers having a great experience.Overall, it’s safe to say this has quickly become my favorite hot pot spot in the city! Between the high-quality food, thoughtful service, and overall experience, it’s definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again and again. Highly recommended!
