Brick’s Family Restaurant Introduce
For New Yorkers and families visiting the Hudson Valley, especially those staying at the LEGOLAND New York Hotel in Goshen, Brick’s Family Restaurant serves as the primary on-site dining establishment. Operating under the umbrella of the LEGOLAND experience, this venue is tailored to cater specifically to hotel guests and their needs for convenient, dedicated meals. It functions as a Family restaurant with a unique service concept that diverges from a standard continental buffet, positioning itself as a required part of the hotel stay for many visitors.
The concept for Brick’s Family Restaurant revolves around a served, family-style approach, particularly for breakfast. Instead of a self-serve buffet, guests utilize a checklist to select their desired standard breakfast items, which are then delivered to the table by the server. Only basic items like cereal and juices are provided in a continental format. This model is generally included with the hotel stay, though customers should be aware that anything considered 'special' or beyond the standard checklist items, such as certain pancakes or premium beverages like soda, may incur additional, separate costs. For dinner, the menu shifts to classic family-style entrees and sides. The atmosphere is casual, designed to accommodate families and children, and aims to be a functional, necessary part of the themed hotel environment.
It is important to note that customer reviews indicate a polarized experience, with comments frequently mentioning that the service, while often friendly from the staff, can be hampered by a perceived reluctance or rudeness from front-of-house personnel and a non-traditional dining concept. Guests consistently stress that reservations are an absolute necessity for all meals.
Brick’s Family Restaurant is located within the LEGOLAND New York Hotel premises in Goshen, NY 10924, USA. Its location is intrinsically tied to the hotel and the theme park, meaning it is not a standalone restaurant that the general public would typically visit without a primary purpose in the area. This makes it an easily accessible dining option for those lodging at the hotel.
In terms of accessibility for guests arriving by vehicle, the restaurant is supported by the hotel’s infrastructure, which provides convenient parking options. Patrons have access to both a Free parking lot and a Paid parking lot, offering flexibility and guaranteed space close to the hotel entrance. While not explicitly detailed, as a modern hotel amenity, it is expected to adhere to standard accessibility guidelines for mobility-challenged guests.
As a hotel restaurant designed to serve a captive audience, Brick’s Family Restaurant offers a structured and essential set of services for guests:
- Dine-in service, which is the standard method for enjoying their served breakfast and dinner meals.
- Breakfast service, featuring a checklist ordering system for standard breakfast fare like scrambled eggs, bacon, and tater tots.
- Dinner service, with a dedicated menu of Entrees and Sides for evening dining.
- Acceptance of reservations, which is a mandatory requirement for all dining times due to the restaurant's operational model and high demand from hotel guests.
- Coffee and beverage service, including a selection of Coffee Drinks like Latte, Cappuccino, Americano, and Salpaccino, alongside Tea.
- Provision of both Free parking lot and Paid parking lot options for guests utilizing the hotel’s facilities.
The highlights of Brick’s Family Restaurant are generally focused on providing a cohesive experience for hotel guests and offering classic American-style entrees with a playful theme. Key features that define this dining spot include:
- Exclusive Location: Serves as the primary restaurant within the LEGOLAND New York Hotel, making it the most convenient on-site dining option.

- Essential Coffee Offerings: A full range of espresso-based Coffee Drinks ensures adult guests have access to specialty coffee options beyond standard drip coffee.
- Dedicated Family Focus: Its core mission is to cater to families and children, offering a predictable and casual dining experience that aligns with the hotel’s playful theme.

Address: Goshen, NY 10924, USA (Located within the LEGOLAND New York Hotel)
Phone: While a direct restaurant phone number is not publicly provided for general inquiries outside the hotel system, all planning and reservations should be conducted through the LEGOLAND New York Hotel general phone line, which is typically:

What is worth choosing at Brick’s Family Restaurant is its sheer convenience and its role as an integral part of the LEGOLAND New York Hotel experience. For hotel guests, the restaurant provides an easy, close-proximity option for both Breakfast and Dinner, eliminating the need to leave the hotel property.
From a culinary perspective, the dinner menu offers classic, recognizable comfort food with a slight modern twist, such as the 'Bricktastic Mac' or 'Truffle & Parm Fries,' ensuring that even discerning palates in the family can find an appealing option. The availability of specialty items like the Mocktails and various Coffee Drinks further enhances the on-site convenience, making the stay smoother and more enjoyable for the entire family.
However, the main reason for choosing Brick’s Family Restaurant is the necessity of its reservation-only, family-style served breakfast model, which is often included with the hotel package. While some customers criticize the value and the fee structure for premium items, the certainty of a dedicated, pre-booked meal in an exclusive location, without having to rush out of the park or hotel in the morning, is the primary benefit for New York families and visitors staying at the LEGOLAND Hotel.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can see why this place has such a low rating, and it 100% deserves it. This is where the meals are served in the Legoland Hotel. I went here twice for breakfast, and the food was not good, and neither was the concept of the restaurant. The menu had the average breakfast foods, but for anything remotely special, you had to pay ridiculous extra prices. $11 for pancakes? And it isn't continental breakfast. You check off what you want, and your server brings it out. The only continental part of it was the cereal and juices. You had to pay extra for soda. Reservations are required, so if you forget to reserve, you have to go completely out of the park to get anything for breakfast. Most of the staff was nice except the lady working at the front desk who was very rude for no reason. I do not recommend this place on any means.
July 01 · Lucas ルーカスWe had breakfast here. It’s a family style breakfast. You choose the food off a checklist (i.e. scrambled eggs, bacon, tater tots, etc.). It’s included with your stay at the Legoland NY Hotel. You can add additional items for an extra cost. The food isn’t the highest quality but not bad. Service was good. Make sure you make a reservation if you plan to eat here because it’s necessary.
July 31 · R.G. OngocoThe food was horrible, it litterally made me feel like I was going to throw up. The servers take FOREVER to come out for both times I came here. The low rating is well deserved because everything here was just terrible. The food is so overpriced, especially for low-par food. I had to pay $11 for 3 small pancakes that tasted under cooked. The person at the front desk kept making mistakes and overall the service was bad. Everything here tasted artificial and looked artificial and the only good thing was the cereal and that’s about it. I was very dissatisfied with this visit and I do not recommend coming.
October 12 · Patricia QuigleyHad breakfast here was not very good to be honest. Just scrambled eggs and your choice of breakfast meat and tater tots everything else is enough charge. The one saving grace was the chocolate milk other than that they have toast, cereal, apple or orange and apple juice, and orange juice.
July 30 · Jacob MirandaCool room but super crowded. Very expensive. "Free breakfast" doesn't include things in normal hotel breakfast, some basic things are extra, like pancakes. Food is good not great. Servers do the best they can with tons of tables. Wait even with reservation bc line is so long.
October 07 · Andrea VamvasWe visited Bricks for dinner after the park and the complementary breakfast. The dining room had LEGO decor, which was fun. For both our servers were friendly and attentiveFor dinner: the prices were extremely high for fairly low quality food. The menu was relatively kid friendly, but you're paying for the convenience of being able to get dinner onsite. The lunch we'd had at the park was much better. The best item we had at dinner was the kids side of fruit, which came out the same as the breakfast fruit plate.Complementary Breakfast: food was basically the same as any hotel complementary breakfast, except they serve you at the table. It was fine.
