★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I visited Caffe Panna on a Thursday around 8 PM. Although there was a line, it moved pretty quickly. We had our ice cream in about 15 min. They had all of their scoops and specials available. Just a few pints were sold out. I got a scoop of the toasted peanut and cookies 'n peanuts. I thought both ice cream flavors were spectacular. I understand why people like this shop. There is also a small amount of indoor seating too. Definitely worth a stop!
July 28 · Vivian AnneThis is the best ice cream in the city period. I am SO happy there is this location in Brooklyn. I rarely made it to the one in the city and now I can frequent this location. Thank god I don’t live super close or I would be eating this everyday. Anytime I have somebody visit from out of town I ALWAYS make us visit here. I am partial to always getting the sundae special but there flavors are always stellar as well.
August 11 · mike gasperI’ve walked by this place so many times and there’s always a long line. Today, I lucked out — hardly any wait — so I finally decided to see what all the hype was about. Wow… BEST ice cream I’ve ever had in my life! Honestly, I’d happily wait if the line was three blocks long just for one scoop of this deliciousness. Totally worth it every single day. I got the cherry vanilla chip, and now I can’t wait to come back and try more flavors.
August 08 · T MFinding myself organically in front of this shop 6 minutes before they opened and with just one person in line, I decided to give it a go. Cafe Pana has a reputation of long lines and so I took this one opportunity to give them a go. Wow! Their ice cream is incredibly tasty, creamy- absolutely delicious! The flavors , the texture, the combinations are sublime. I always choose vanilla just to experience what their ice cream is like without any add-ons and true enough- this is a higher quality ice cream than most places. I eat ice cream about 3 times a week year round (daily in the summer) and have enjoyed ice cream from across the globe (Mediterranean, Japan, Scandinavia, Tanzania, S.Africa, Israel etc.). While I already have the best gelato place down (5th avenue, Park Slope 😜), and the best soft serve (Long Beach boardwalk 💜) I have yet to discover the absolute best ice cream scoops. Cafe Panna is a serious candidate for that spot. Fantastic ice cream indeed! In addition, the service was great, they have a cute sit-down spot and a bathroom.Ps. It is so good, I would love to work here so that I may learn how to make these delicious artisan ice creams 🎨🍨
July 12 · MiloJudging by the line outside of Caffè Panna, I had high expectations walking into this ice cream shop and it absolutely delivered. I went with the soft serve Matcha Yuzu flavor, and it was honestly one of the most memorable ice creams I’ve had.The texture was incredibly smooth, and to my surprise, there seemed to be a cheesecake crumble mixed in that added a rich, slightly tangy layer to the flavor. I had some doubts about pairing Yuzu with Matcha, but clearly, this place knows exactly what it's doing. The citrusy brightness of the Yuzu balanced perfectly with the earthy Matcha.I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. The wait in line was long, but it was well worth the wait and calories.
