When you visit Caffe Torino, what's worth choosing is the blend of high-quality beverages and delicious food in a great atmosphere. The Coffee and Espresso Drinks are a primary draw, as reviews highlight their richness and smooth flavor. While one review mentioned an iced latte being "watered down," this seems to be an anomaly, and the general consensus points to the cafe's "great coffee." The wide variety of options, from a simple Espresso to a unique Nutella Cappuccino, means there’s a perfect drink for every palate.
For a treat, the Gelato is a must-try. A customer noted that while it wasn't "super creamy," it blended "nicely with the espresso" in an affogato, making it a "definite worth a try on a hot summer day." The bakery is another key highlight, with a reviewer praising the "thick, juicy baklavas" and "pistachio muffins." The availability of pastries like the Tiramisu, Almond Gluten Free Cookies, and Vanilla Cannoli also makes it an excellent choice for dessert lovers.
Finally, the savory options, particularly the Pizza Pies, are a great choice for those seeking a more substantial meal. A 12-inch Margherita or Mushroom Pizza can be a delicious and satisfying lunch or light dinner. Overall, what is worth choosing is the entire experience. The combination of quality drinks, a tempting menu of food items, and a cozy, beautiful setting makes Caffe Torino a valuable and highly recommended spot for a coffee break, a meal, or a friendly get-together in Long Island City.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A beautiful spot in a prime location—perfect for locals who can just step downstairs to a corner coffee shop with an open-concept layout, lush greenery, and great aesthetics. There's plenty of seating, even for groups of six, making it ideal for hanging out. The bakery is stacked with options, from pistachio muffins to thick, juicy baklavas. The menu is simple, with average pricing in line with nearby spots. I did try a vanilla iced latte, but it was watered down despite not waiting long—maybe the hot version is better. I also had an affogato; while the gelato wasn’t super creamy, it blended nicely with the espresso—definitely worth a try on a hot summer day
July 15 · Omar SCaffe Torino in Astoria is a charming café with stylish indoor and outdoor seating that creates a cozy, welcoming vibe. The coffee was above average—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. They also offer a tempting selection of pastries and gelato, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. I didn’t try the gelato this time, but it looked delicious, and I’m definitely coming back for it. A solid addition to the Astoria café scene with both looks and quality.
July 26 · George Panagopoulos at Douglas Elliman RealestateLiterally the best place ever. Me and my friends always come here after our law program to get food and hang out. The workers here are so great and welcoming. The music isn’t loud, the workers are so sweet, and this place is totally something I would recommend to people.
August 29 · rachel perezI always go this place because it is near my house and i like the lady (owner) she is really nice but i had to post because i was so upset and i do not usually post any review. First of all they charged me for large iced americano when I asked for small size, then i tasted my “americano” it tasted like cold brew because i sometimes have cold brew there. So i went back and asked is this americano? And this worker looking at me like duh ? Ofc? And i swear to god i know what cold brew tastes like.. so i asked her how do you make americano ? And then she said oh we make it with a machine and put it in a refrigerator overnight. Im like what?…. Thats called cold brew…. I was just so frustrated because she didnt know what she was doing so i just left but,,,, mann i can never go back there again and it is so pricy like more expensive than the city …
March 22 · vince choiI stumbled upon this cute little cafe while looking for a place to sit and have a coffee and a bite. The oversized windows were wide open and inviting, so I walked right in.Everything looked delicious, but I settled on a cranberry muffin, which was beautiful. Later in the day, they also make pizza.I enjoyed my time here, having a bit of breakfast while doing a little remote work. It's a great addition to the neighborhood, and they have outdoor seating, too.
