★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great food. Huge portions. Best if you are in a large group since each entree feed 3 people. We loved the calamari and chicken parmigiana. Very generous bread baskets. The titanic ice cream dessert was delicious. It’s a little loud so you have to speak loudly for conversation.
August 29 · gordon leungThe food was phenomenal! The Caprese salad was the best I've ever had. We loved the atmosphere and service was great! Everything is served family style and one dish can feed 2-4 people. In our case, these dishes were enough for 6 individual meals!
September 08 · Jen PachecoOur waitress was great and the food superb. However, this place should come with a warning for the ultimate educated - you will not go away hungry and the portions a VERY large, bring friends. They do tell you it is family style, them mean an old style italian family, large family style. You will not go away unsatisfied or hungry.
September 01 · Richard DormanExcellent experience! We had a reservation for 6pm. Pack your patience because it’s a popular restaurant. We were sat about 6:30pm which wasn’t bad. It was cold and raining but it was worth the wait. The food portions are MASSIVE! We had a party of eight and still had three big to-go boxes. I told the waiter my plan was to give food to people who needed it, and he added plasticware. He was awesome! It was my birthday and I was surprised with delicious ice cream. So good! Thanks, Carmines! Definitely returning next time!
May 31 · Dee MCarmine’s is a NYC classic that is definitely worth trying. It’s very busy and feels very New York-like. The bread that we got at first was very tasty! We split the ravioli (big portion, which this place is known for), which was decent, but nothing outstanding. Perhaps some other dishes are more noteworthy. Our server was very friendly and fun, so that was nice! Based on food alone, I’d give 3 stars, but the service bumps it up to 4. I’d still come back if I’m ever in NYC, but I’d want to try another dish.
