★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Happened into Champers Social Club on our recent visit to NYC and was very happy we did. The decor/ambiance are dreamy, Euro inspired with a touch of kitsch to top it off. Excellent selection of bubbles, by the glass or bottle. Now for the best part: the staff and owner. Engaging, witty, and simply a pleasure to engage with on numerous topics. I got to chatting with the owner, Brenna and she was kind enough to tolerate my enthusiasm for her store, even after I was on my second glass of champagne. Kind, thoughtful, obviously brilliant and as I mentioned, very patient as I rambled on for a bit about retail/restaurant life. Thanks to you Brenna and your entire team for making such a sweet memory for my husband and I at Champers. Until next time, take good care and stay bubbly!
June 06 · Lance F.Came here for brunch and loved it! The vibe is very nyc chic and the food and drinks were great. Perfect spot for a catchup with your bestie. I do think the prices of their cocktails are high considering you only get a coup glass though, which is why I’m not giving a full 5 stars.
September 09 · LaurenHOW TO GET IN: I made a reservation same day and it was easy but I am sure a walk in would’ve been fine as well. Everyone here was very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is so cute and beautiful inside! I loved the deviled eggs with caviar and I had their mimosa which was great. 10/10 presentation but also good drinks and food.
May 16 · Neha LuthraMy friend took me to Champers Social Club to celebrate my birthday. This was not our first time, and we came back intentionally for the location, ambiance, atmosphere, and the bubbly! I couldn’t have been happier celebrating in cozy, beautiful surroundings, being assisted by the nicest and most attentive staff you ever meet. Everyone was genuinely friendly, thoughtful, even caring, and accommodating, from start to finish. To top it off, at the end they surprised me with a special birthday treat, which obviously was with me in mind. It was the sweetest gesture, by which I was very touched. Thank you everyone, but especially Mary Grace and Kamryn!
June 14 · Ali SalwaI entered from the side street, as all good discoveries begin—accidentally, while pretending I needed more stationery and less existential dread. It was my first real day wandering SoHo, where every window display flirts with your soul and every overpriced candle promises redemption. Naturally, I followed the scent of absurd beauty. There it was: Champers. Not hidden, but waiting. A French-inflected champagne bistro masquerading as a fever dream. The interior? Emerald green and gold, lush and cinematic, like stepping into the private lounge of a 19th-century Parisian courtesan with excellent taste in lighting. Soft pink glass chandeliers hung like delicate lies—utterly unnecessary and therefore perfect. It felt like Paris if Paris had better lighting and less existential guilt. The champagne was crisp and celebratory, as if it too had just escaped capitalism for the afternoon. The glass caught the light, and for a brief moment, I believed again—in bubbles, in decadence. I sipped slowly, pretending the world wasn’t on fire and the bubbles weren’t my coping mechanism. Knowing I should Drink it now, before tariffs turn it into contraband.I didn’t come for food, though the menu offers a surrealist’s take on luxury—caviar and Ruffles, shrimp cocktail, deviled eggs that laugh at time. But it wasn’t about sustenance. It was about ambiance, about pause, about sipping something cold while the world kept rushing toward oblivion outside. The service was light-handed and gracious, as if they knew this wasn’t your first existential spiral. They let me linger in peace, which is to say, they let me be human in velvet-upholstered stillness. In sum: Champers is not just a bar. It’s an exquisite little protest against the mundane. Go for the champagne. Stay because beauty still exists—even if only by the glass.
