★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Decently clean. Fairly fast. $10 feels weirdly expensive for a scoop of ice cream with 2-3 toppings. Since the preset size small is the same price as a make your own with one topping, you’ll get more bang for your buck with the 2-3 topping preset but it feels less custom. I had the preset chocolate with brownie bites and syrup. Nothing wrong but I don’t think I’d go back.
April 26 · Jaye Aster BroderThe other day it was 90 something degrees in the City, and I was walking past Cold Stone on 42nd. Yeah, It was a no-brainer! With a quick mid-stride decision I entered into ice-cream heaven. I admit to being a long time Cold Stone fan, so I’m definitely biased. But I’m a fan for a good reason; their ice cream is delicious, and this visit didn’t disappoint. This time around it was strawberry cheesecake with graham cracker crumbs in a cup. It was so good and so refreshing on such a hot day. They have a great selection, ranging from basic flavors to more interesting and unique flavors. What’s nice is that there are also tons of topping options, so have fun and be creative. When you’re ordering though, be aware of your sizes. Even a medium is a lot, so order conservatively.Like I mentioned, I’m a fan, so I strongly recommend this particular shop. It is very clean and comfortable, and I often order and just stay there and chill while enjoying my ice cream, as I did on this occasion. The one thing I miss is that they don’t sing here. I’m not really sure if any of the stores still do that in the States, but back in the day, it was so much fun. The last one I’ve been to that sang was in Roppongi in Tokyo, (pre-pandemic), but that one sadly closed. In any event, if you pass by this shop on 42nd St., you’ll be just fine. Go and enjoy!
June 26 · Michael PantonA good ice cream to enjoy. We ordered a Chocolate ice cream which was decent and tasty.
August 09 · Nagaraj TantriRecommended! This place is clean, lots of pickup cakes, pints and frozen treats, and then the typical flavors of lots freshly made ice cream, include a vegan option, and tons of fun add ons and freshly made cones. The staff are super friendly, whileand there is a steady stream of delivery folks. I love my customized birthday cake (vanilla mixed with health, gummy bears, Oreos) with fudge layer and devils cake, and jimmies) They did a great job. I wish there was a closer Cold Stone Creamery, enjoy!!
July 20 · Connie KwokStopped by Cold stone for a late night treat. Tried a combination of the mint flavor and sweet cream flavors with chocolate chips and brownie pieces as my chosen mix ins. The final result was a rich and smooth variation of mint chocolate chip with a creamier and fudgey taste. The man who was working the counter was quick to take care of our order and was friendly and attentive from start to finish. Very pleased with the experience and the ice cream itself.
