★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Among our clients on Supp, Corto is probably one of my favorites, and not just because I am Italian lolThe vibes are super chill. This is an awesome spot to have a small bite, do some remote work, and, most importantly, get your mid-afternoon caffeine boost with a nice, good espresso. They also have a small garden in the back with more seating and a wine bar that I haven't had the pleasure of trying yet. I have to come back on a Friday afternoon, so I don't feel guilty about having a drink while working.Ciao a presto :)
April 10 · Ettore MichelinCorto Brooklyn is one of my favorite coffee spots! The Severini focaccia🤤🥖🍳🍅🥑🐖 with a cappuccino (I ask for a bit of honey) is my go-to combo — so delicious. ($25 approx per person: coffee and sandwich)It does get busy, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. I especially love sitting outside on the sidewalk terrace, it makes the experience even better. A true neighborhood gem!
September 14 · Elba LeonThis review is about sustainability only! By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. Over 95% of the plastic that we produce and consume does not actually get recycled, but rather ends up in landfills, incinerators, in our oceans, and in our bodies as microplastics. While I am happy to see that your shop offers for-here, reusable mugs and plate ware and cutlery to customers, it seems that no one knows to ask for them. Not one person in your coffee shop the other day was drinking out of a multi-use, real cup.Instead, those who were there to work, meet a friend, or read a book, were drinking out of cups made from fossil fuels.Even when ordering a drink in a mug for here, I still got my drink in a throwaway plastic cup.I think there would be some simple fixes like being clear with your customers to see if they are staying for their beverage. And then making sure they get the reusable. Or perhaps, at least you can promote the availability of real mugs, or incentivize people to bring their own, on your socials.Because I see that you offer real plates for people eating a snack here, I can assume that you would have the capacity to offer and clean real mugs. But we can’t continue to normalize such a rampant and reckless use of plastic every single day. Especially here in this waterfront city.Thank you for listening to my concerns, and thinking about how both the customer and the purveyor can work together toward a healthier Brooklyn. The plastic waste crisis will not solve itself, and we need businesses and customers on board to mitigate it.
July 06 · SheilaPanini sandwich was fine, ambience is nice but coffee was a big disappointment. Forget latte art, it was poorly frothed, luke warm average quality beens. “Barista” was making coffee one minute and cleaning tables the next. Recommended getting a dedicated trained barista who can do justice to ambiance, the good food and cost.
August 24 · Sandy LallThe owner is very nice. Sandwiches are good albeit a bit overpriced. I’d recommend this place for the sandwiches and scenery / vibe, but not the coffee. Their coffee drinks are quite bad, actually. Either the baristas need better training or the drinks are rushed. My cappuccino is always cold and often does not contain any foam. Also, if you order a latte, you must pay for the second shot of espresso, which is odd here in the states.
September 05 · Keisha BThe cashier with the blue eyes is so lovely, just the most wonderful service! The sandwiches are fantastic but meat-heavy. And specifically pork-heavy. I wish they had more veg or tuna or chicken options. The bundt cake was really good and the ambience is nice. Comfortable and not stuffy.
