Second time ordering from Din Soup Dumplings and so glad we did! This time I picked up the order and appreciate the attention to detail they offered for dietary restrictions. We enjoyed the following:Beef Fried Noodle (will try chicken next time and beef was a bit rubbery)S1. Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings (6) also very good and tasty!P3. Pan Fried Pork Dumplings(8) my favorite!D2. Steamed Shumai w/ pork & shrimp (4) (didn’t like the flavor of the shrimp and wish they had pork only but it was fine)D4. Mixed Dumplings(3) w/ Pork, peanut, water chestnut (this was tasty and fun!)Miso Soup w/o scallions was nice and cozy!We also had a side of steamed chicken but will see if they can make it similar to the chicken fried noodle for more flavor.Overall, a great experience and will come back for more!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Delicious & Authentic!**I tried the **Spicy Beef Noodle Soup** and **Cumin Lamb Noodle Soup** at Din Soup Dumpling, and both were incredible! The broth was rich and flavorful—the beef had a perfect kick of heat, while the lamb was tender with aromatic cumin seasoning. The greens on the side were fresh and balanced the meal well. Every bite felt like a taste of home!If you’re craving authentic Chinese noodle soups, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

The only downside was the delicate skin tore a bit too easily.Pan-Fried Buns 4.5/5:These were my favorite! The texture was chewy, smooth, and slightly thin--almost like they used tapioca flour.Mushroom Buns 3.75/5:Unique and cute. While they weren't super juicy, the mushroom filling was tastyShanghai Beef Fried Noodles 3.5/5:Not bad at all, the beef was tender, but it leaned heavy on noodles with not enough meat and veggies in the mix.

The BEST pan-fried pork buns at an underrated gem in Brooklyn Heights. If you like your SJB with a thinner wrapper and a crispy bottom, this is the spot.I admit I was super skeptical when my family suggested it—the restaurant’s Chinese name is clearly trying to imitate Din Tai Fung lol. Plus, the menu is a mash-up of Shanghainese, Szechuanese, and Cantonese dishes, which usually screams "inauthentic".But I was so wrong. Their soup dumplings and pan-fried pork buns were mind-blowing, all freshly made in an open kitchen. Even the dessert blew me away.If you can’t snag a reservation at Din Tai Fung, check out Din Soup Dumpling instead. It’s more affordable and just as satisfying.＊Pan Fried Pork Bun 生煎包 $9/4pc, $12/6pcI’m not exaggerating when I say this is the BEST sheng jian bao in NYC. It's hard to find SJB with a thin wrapper, even when I was in Hong Kong. Each bun was packed with rich meat juice and wrapped in a thin, chewy skin. They were so good that we had to order another round🤤＊Crab Meat & Pork Soup Dumpling 蟹粉小籠包 $12These crab and pork xiaolongbao were juicy, and meaty. I wasn’t a fan of the crumbly, nutty filling, and the "mochi" wasn't really mochi. It was more like a thin, pan-fried dough rolled up.

Best soup dumplings I've ever had. This place is better than all of the restaurants I've gone to anywhere and I've eaten a lot of soup dumplings. They are a lot bigger here and have a lot more soup. Incredibly flavorful. The scallion and peanut noodles were delicious too. Steven was an amazing server. Very friendly place. Can't wait to be back and try more things on the menu too
