★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Interesting place. The bartender looked at my id for like 4 minutes. The menu is on neon paper just written. And weird drink choices they have selling. Also quite expensive!! Also if you have dust allergies DONOT GO HERE. Dust everyyyywhere
April 07 · KThe miserable female bartender with dirty blonde curly hair haggling us over tips mid drink was ridiculous. We ordered drinks I paid and let her know we were planning on !!ordering more drinks!! right after. 2 sips into our drinks she comes and lets us know with a aggressive attitude that we hadn’t tipped. I am a waiter and my friend is a bartender in NYC, and I explained to her I don’t expect people to tip mid meal and my friend doesn’t expect people to tip mid drink (especially because we were ordering more, if we order three rounds are we tipping her 3 times??). REGARDLESS WE STILL TIPPED HER! The bartender still caught in an attitude and starting making snarky comments after we tipped her like “Have you ever been to a bar before?” She seems miserable and quite frankly not very good at the job. I understand what kind of bar Docs is, and I’ve been many times. It’s gritty, rough, bartenders have an edge, but this one is flat out a miserable pan handler. Not much separating her from the homeless woman outside begging for change😂
August 15 · stick pThis gritty, no-frills NYC dive bar isn’t for the timid—but for those who appreciate an authentic watering hole, it’s a hidden gem. A solid lineup of beer and whiskey awaits, including a well-poured Guinness. Bonus: there’s a pool table to round out the experience.
May 18 · Brian GillespieThis place is crazy! The country music on the jukebox was rocking, the beautiful women were dancing, and the drinks were strong and tasty! This place was nonstop fun! And the craziest part.....this was like at 6pm! We had just started our evening and found our way to Doc Hollidays. It was packed to the gills. I could swear it was already peak party time at 11pm at night. But no! It was barely 6!The only bummer was that they only take cash before 9pm I think it was. So bring plenty of bills if you want to drink early. The bartenders were very nice so don't you dare short them on tips! My brother, like an idiot, gave the bartender exact cash for the first round and she took her time getting back to us with our second drink. But after I started leaving a more generous tip we found ourselves back in her good graces. My apologies for my brother ma'am.Anyways, it was a great time and we will definitely visit next time we are in New York.
