★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I ordered the clam chowder and it was pretty disappointing. The texture was grainy, almost like it had raw flour added to it, and the potatoes were cut too big. There was also an aftertaste of off seafood that made me stop eating after a few bites. Later in the day my stomach was really sour and upset. Might have just been a bad batch, but something definitely was off with it. I recommend the restaurant check its product.
October 16 · bacon burgerCame across this gem 10 years ago upon moving to Norwalk. They never miss no matter what you order! My personal favorite is the Buffalo Wings- best in town! Here’s a few photos throughout the years! Thanks Donovan’s for the incredibly delish bites and awesome atmosphere!
August 30 · MK S**ZERO STAR**Extremely Inappropriate and Unacceptable for FamiliesWe visited this establishment for lunch after a trip to the nearby children’s aquarium, assuming it was family-friendly since they offered a childrens menu and are located within walking distance to the aquarium. Unfortunately, we were shocked and deeply disappointed by what we experienced. My 6-year-old son went to use the bathroom and came out visibly confused and upset. When I went to check, I found the walls of the men's bathroom covered in graphic, half-naked photos of women—something completely inappropriate and demeaning, especially in a place that clearly markets to families.I brought this to the bartender's attention, hoping for a prompt and respectful response. Instead, I was met with a smirk and a dismissive “Sure” before he turned his back and returned to his work. I ended up taking the photos down myself, horrified that this was being treated as normal or acceptable. If you value respect, decency, and a safe environment for your children, this is not the place for you. The lack of accountability and basic awareness is appalling. I sincerely hope management reconsiders what kind of environment they want to create—because right now, it’s one that’s totally unwelcoming to families and sends the wrong message about what’s appropriate.
June 29 · The HubFood was excellent and at very good prices. I have to roast one of the 1 star reviews though, they complained about pictures of "half naked ladies" near the bathroom and when I found it I laughed so hard. It's a autographed promo picture of a female boxer who was wearing a frankly modest sports bra boxing gloves and pants. 0% objectionable would gladly go back again.
July 26 · Ryan ScanlonOne of my favorite places to eat in Norwalk. During the summer months you can find me here once a week… They have the best bar food in town! Try the clam chowder, lobster sliders, chicken wings or fried calamari, you will not be disappointed.
