Elverton Bagels & Deli Introduce
For many New Yorkers, a local deli and bagel shop is the lifeblood of the morning rush and the anchor for a quick, comforting meal at any hour. Elverton Bagels & Deli, nestled in a convenient pocket of Staten Island, functions as a classic neighborhood snack bar and reliable meal takeaway spot, catering to the needs of busy residents from dawn well into the night. It is a source for those essential, quick bites that fuel the city, specializing in the staples that define New York convenience: hot breakfast sandwiches, fresh bagels, and a variety of quick deli items.
The core offering of Elverton Bagels & Deli is rooted in classic American and deli-style comfort food. This is the place for the no-frills, satisfying meals New Yorkers rely on, particularly for the most important meal of the day. Their menu highlights popular hot items such as the Bacon Egg & Cheese on a roll for $4.99 and the quintessential Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese for $2.25. Furthermore, the selection extends to other fulfilling options like Cold Sandwiches, including a simple Ham Cheese Sandwich ($5.50) and a Deluxe Ham And Turkey Sandwich ($6.25), proving its utility for both breakfast and lunch crowds.
However, potential patrons exploring the local dining landscape should be aware of the public feedback that surrounds this establishment. While the promise of "Fast service" and "Great coffee" are listed highlights, customer reviews have also drawn attention to significant inconsistencies. Patrons have publicly cited issues with inconsistent pricing, claiming the prices displayed on the boards do not always match the final charge. Furthermore, concerns regarding the quality and portion size of ingredients, such as a minimal amount of bacon or ham on sandwiches, have been raised, alongside criticisms of side items being "gummy flavorless" and microwaved. There are also concerning reports of employees displaying rudeness to customers, creating a disappointing overall experience for some seeking basic customer service. This mixed public record is a factual part of the business's identity, and while the establishment aims to provide quick, affordable comfort food, New Yorkers should manage their expectations regarding service consistency and pricing transparency.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They never charge the same thing twice for the same stuff . The prices on their boards is not what they charge !! They charge more -I Ordered Bacon egg and cheese on a bagel and they put 2 pieces of bacon which is nothing and I asked for potato in my eggs n they offered to put on the side I said ok and then charge me $10 a lb for a side of potato’s - ok fine $5 but then they are gummy flavorless and they must have microwaved them instead of putting on a griddle -I’m done with this place - go the extra mile and go to Country donuts
August 19 · Amanda ConwayThe employees are rude to customers. I decided to give this place a second chance after having a bad experience a few years ago (also having to do with their employees). Thinking that since there is new people working there I thought why not. I waited for the The man behind the grill ignored me as I waited to place my order. I asked him when will he be ready to take my order, he replied two hours. He continued to be rude the whole experience so I decided to leave and get my food else where. I will no longer be going to this deli to get my food. As someone who works in customer service it's disappointing to. Know that a business would allow their employees to speak to customes this way.
January 31 · Jen StoneEmployees are great... food and prices are disgusting, the cold food they keep behind the glass can be days old and spoiled but they'll still sell it. Got macaroni salad that tasted like vinegar and windex, 30 min later still trying to get the taste of the 1 bite I had outta my mouth. And the breakfast sandwiches $5 for 1 wet piece of bacon and runny eggs, and unmelted cheese nope I'm good. Since covid hit this place went down hill food wise
July 11 · Matthew HIt's a deli that has what you need. Friendly workers and fresh food.
December 30 · Joseph BuroThe food there is really super good to sandwiches the breakfast and everything else like that the guy is really cooked good their deli section is all right but the rest of the stuff in the store is kind of expensive if the gas is completely owned by somebody else until is the garage so I really can't say anything about those because I don't use them but the food lunch breakfast excellent
