Gino's Of Williston Park Introduce
For decades, New Yorkers, particularly those residing in Nassau County, have cherished the local pizzeria as a foundational part of their community dining experience. Gino's Of Williston Park, situated at 628 Willis Ave, embodies this tradition, establishing itself as a beloved fixture and a classic destination for authentic Italian-American comfort food. Far more than just a slice shop, Gino's operates as a full-service Italian restaurant and a dedicated delivery service, making it a highly versatile and convenient choice for local residents in Williston Park and the surrounding Long Island communities.
The restaurant's core appeal lies in its commitment to hearty, traditional fare. While the name highlights its identity as a “pizza restaurant,” the menu extends to a vast array of Italian favorites, including baked pasta dishes, robust entrees, and satisfying small plates. This breadth of offerings means that whether you are craving a quick, casual slice of their acclaimed pizza for lunch or planning a seated family dinner featuring classic dishes like Chicken Parmigiana or Shrimp Scampi, Gino's is equipped to deliver.
Gino's Of Williston Park is highly popular for both lunchtime quick bites and comfortable evening dining, noted for its "fast service" which is a key advantage in the busy New York lifestyle. The atmosphere is consistently described as "Casual," welcoming solo diners, families, and larger "Groups" alike. It provides a reliable and unpretentious setting where the focus remains squarely on delivering generous portions of satisfying, high-quality food. For New York area users seeking a consistent, local Italian experience with the convenience of both full-service seating and reliable delivery, Gino's Of Williston Park is a deeply rooted community choice.
The establishment’s reputation is particularly strong for its signature pizza styles. While the standard "large regular pie" is often praised for its "Big & thick slices," a major highlight often cited by local connoisseurs is the Sicilian pie. This thick, airy-crusted pizza, generously topped with rich tomato sauce and mozzarella, has gained a dedicated following and is frequently lauded as one of the best in the area. This focus on pizza excellence, combined with a comprehensive menu of classic Italian entrees, sets Gino's apart as a full-fledged Italian eatery, not simply a quick-stop pizza counter.
Gino's Of Williston Park is strategically located at 628 Willis Ave, placing it on a major commercial thoroughfare that connects many of Nassau County’s central communities. This location provides excellent accessibility for customers across Long Island's North Shore area.
The accessibility features of the restaurant are notably accommodating, ensuring a comfortable experience for all patrons. The establishment offers a Wheelchair accessible entrance, making it easy for everyone to enter the dining space. Furthermore, the commitment to accessibility extends to in-house amenities with a Wheelchair accessible restroom and Wheelchair accessible seating, ensuring that the full dining experience is available to individuals with mobility needs.
For those traveling by car—the preferred method of transportation for many Long Island residents—Gino’s provides significant convenience regarding parking. Patrons benefit from both a Free parking lot and access to Free street parking, minimizing the stress of finding a spot in a frequently busy commercial area. This combination of location visibility, convenient on-site and street parking, and comprehensive physical accessibility makes Gino's a seamless choice for a quick lunch pickup, a seated family dinner, or for collecting a large catering order. Its presence on Willis Ave guarantees high visibility and ease of navigation for anyone in the Williston Park, Mineola, or East Williston vicinities.
Gino's Of Williston Park is designed to serve a wide array of customer needs, blending the convenience of a modern pizzeria with the experience of a traditional Italian trattoria.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Saw their review on OneBite a while ago so decided to give them a shot. Nice & clean on the inside & good service. They gave a good amount of tables to sit down & enjoy your meal. I ordered the large regular pie. It was good. Big & thick slices which is great & it wasn't too salty.
May 26 · zo maqMy husband called to ask about their pie sizes and whether they offered Hawaiian pizza. They said they only make one size (large), which is fine, but when he asked about the Hawaiian, the response was, “We don’t make Hawaiian pies,” followed by, “Pineapple doesn’t go on pizza, buddy.”First of all, my husband is not your “buddy,” and no one called to get your personal opinion on pizza toppings. It was a simple question about menu options, not an invitation for sarcasm. The attitude was totally unnecessary and unprofessional. We’ll gladly support Vincent’s down the road, a pizzeria that knows how to treat customers with basic respect.
