★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Food - this place came up on my TikTok and one of my notes was that it looked really good. I didn’t know however that is a place that specializes in intestines now I really wanted to try them, but my partner did not so we did not get the intestines however we did get everything else and it was delicious but I now have to go back and get the intestines because after I posted on my social media all of my friends said they love this place and that the intestines were fantastic so I must go backIt’s a little hidden around the corner and upstairs so it’s a little tricky to find and the inside is very cute. Very simple. It was really enjoyable
July 28 · Jack TuggleI really like beef intestines, so I brought my friend here to try this place since it’s very popular and a lot of people said the food was good. To my surprise, the service was extremely poor. When we were ready to order, we couldn’t see any server for quite a while. I waved my hand, and one of the waitresses noticed but completely ignored me. After finally placing our order, the drinks also took some time to arrive. The staff member grilling our food was cold and unfriendly the entire time. When I asked for chili sauce, he said they didn’t have any. I thought to myself, how could a Korean restaurant not have chili sauce? Especially when even the side dishes already had chili peppers—it just didn’t make sense. I didn’t want to argue too much, but overall, while the food was okay (a bit overcooked and tough), the service was really disappointing. I won’t be coming back.
September 02 · J LThis place specializes in grilled beef intestines, and it’s a great spot if you’re craving something different. We had the spicy mixed combo, and while the sauce tends to burn fast on the grill, our server helped cook everything for us, which was super helpful and made the experience easier. The small intestines had the best texture and flavor. Large intestines were good but a little too rich after a few bites. Tripe was just okay. The rice cakes stood out—chewy and soaked in sauce.Didn’t try the fried rice at the end because the grill was already a bit greasy.
May 13 · MaydonshootsWORST EXPERIENCE IN NEW YORK EVER!!I have heard of this place before, and yesterday I invited my friends to it. I completely regretted my decision.First, the food is unreasonably high. We ordered the assorted gopchang (picture below) for 3 people, and the price is $108. Be careful when you order; the price on the menu will multiply by the headcount being served. We ordered the assorted one, but I believed what we got was only one type. Even worse than that, we ordered another Galbi priced at $50, and we were all shocked when the dish arrived. There are only about 10 pieces of thin beef!!! At that $50, we could get 5x more at other Korean restaurants with even better quality.Second, the service is extremely disappointing and terrible! The waiter always had such an arrogant attitude and looked down on the customers. When our table was a bit loud, he came to our table and said, "You guys are too loud!" frankly and without any filter words. We were both shocked at how any waiter could say that to the customer. We both went silent after that but realized other Korean customers' tables were also loud! Is it because we were talking loudly but in other languages? When we asked for another portion of lettuce, the waiter seemed hesitant and unsupportive attitude. During the whole meal, the waiter never smiled at us.To conclude, I have never left any negative comments before, but this is the first and only time I was this shocked at any terrible service like this. I will never go to this place again and will even share my bad opinions with other friends and dissuade them from going here!Best,
August 10 · Alex JimaisMy friend told me this is the best gopchang spot in K-town, so I had to try it. The food was solid. We ordered the assorted combo—definitely recommend the spicy flavor. The large intestines were super juicy and flavorful. We also ordered beef rib, it was alright, but probably not worth the price.Service was hit or miss. The front server (the guy with glasses) wasn’t very friendly—kind of gave attitude when simple questions were asked. But the rest of the staff were really nice and helpful—the person who greeted us, the guy who brought the food, and the lady server were all great. We still left a tip since we know some places split tips. If anyone knows whether tips are shared here, please let me know.
