If you want a West Coast Style Burger then you must stop by here. As a Cali transplant, this is a great welcome among the East Coast burgers. It is similar to In N Out but In N Out will always be the best in my eyes. If Highlife could are a similar option to the Animal Style then I will be happy to do another comparison. The fries are superior to In N Out.I cant wait to try their other shop - Electric Burrito. Luv breakfast burritos. - Stephen Chen

What is worth choosing

Choosing HighLife Burger is a great decision for anyone in New York seeking a delicious, no-nonsense, and high-quality burger experience. The primary reason it's worth choosing is the quality of its "West Coast Style Burger," which has been highly praised by customers. For those who have experienced the iconic burgers of the West Coast, this place provides a nostalgic and satisfying taste that is hard to find in New York. The positive review from a "Cali transplant" confirms that HighLife Burger successfully brings a taste of that culture to the East Coast, making it a unique and appealing option.

Beyond the burgers, the sides are a major highlight. The review stating that the "fries are superior to In N Out" is a significant endorsement that speaks volumes about their quality. The "Queso Fries" are also a popular choice, adding a rich and flavorful twist to a classic side. The menu also offers a great variety, from the classic "Cheeseburger" to the plant-based "Impossible Highlife Burger" and the "Queso Dog," ensuring there is a delicious option for everyone. The fast service is a huge plus, making it a reliable spot for a quick and satisfying meal, and the casual, family-friendly atmosphere makes it a comfortable place for any occasion. While one review mentioned the "Double HighLife Burger" was just "okay," it is important to note that the customer let it sit for a while, which can impact the quality of any burger. Overall, HighLife Burger's dedication to a specific, well-executed style of burger, combined with its high-quality sides and efficient service, makes it a top choice for a delicious and comforting meal in the East Village.
