Pairing Wine With Your Fish

The old saying is "white wine with fish," but this is not always true. Fish has a lot of variety and versatility that goes beyond just white wine. When picking your wine, let the preparation and accompanying ingredients lead the way.
- Grilled Fish
The charred and smoky flavors are perfect for earthy and rustic reds
- Crudo
Nothing pairs better with the delicate and nuanced flavors of pesce crudo than classic italian sparkling wines
- Baked Fish
A light and clean white wine will bring out the full flavor and textures

Il Pesce Reviews
Located on the 3rd floor inside Eataly, this Italian place is pretty good with some very good views of one WTC. I had the Salmone Marinato as an appetizer and it was really good, followed by the Spaghetti Alla Busara, which we also slot on. The shrimp were fresh and tender, and the spaghetti was cooked not to the very soft point, which I like. The service is quick and friendly and the have a nice wine list to go with the menu.
September 25 · Ron RuzalNot impressed. I imagined that because we sat at a reserved table that the food would be much better. No complaints about service though.
October 15 · Fred AllusoSmall portions for expensive food! Tasted better Italian food.
February 23 · Daisy TirosThis Restaurant no longer exists! You need to take it off the map.
April 30 · Barbara Schmidt-RahmerGood food, small portions.
