★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I typically don't like writing poor reviews about some places. This has to be an exception. The food sits out buffet style but there were so many flies, it was a turn off. It smelled so horrible in there, I couldn't even stay to ask for anything.
July 28 · Mimi FullerOne of the few places in NYC where you can find food from Guinea! Definitely worth traveling up to the Bronx to eat off jalloh’s massive buffet, where breadth is matched by depth in flavor. The food remains high quality (fresh, not too greasy or salty), even at 11:30pm when I visitedI particularly loved the Dhapa et Folêrê , a Guinean grits dish, where the corn is fresh ,fragrant, and unbelievably variegated in texture. You can also choose to eat the folêrê with dishes like bourakhé (cassava leaves stewed in palm oil and smoked fish), a winning combo that delicately juxtaposes the stew's smoke and heat with the mellow and earthy flavors of the grits. Or if you’re craving the smooth and silky texture of okra, there’s maffi gumbo that pairs very well with grits. The options here are endless..
November 09 · Kevin XuOmg!!!… literally the best African food I had since I moved to America❤️
April 14 · khidr mageziThey are open 24 hours. The food is west African. Peanut butter sauce is good. The leave of potato with palm oil with smoked fish is dynamite. And grilled lamb with salad or plantains is a must.
