Jupiter Reviews
It was our first time at Jupiter, dining as a party of four. The vibe was definitely upscale, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer — very friendly and attentive throughout.I ordered the ravioli pasta, a Dangerous Summer cocktail, the potato fries as a side, and tiramisu for dessert. The food was delicious across the board, beautifully presented, and everything came out quickly. The portions were smaller than I expected, but the flavors made up for it.Prices are on the steep side, so I’d keep that in mind, but overall the experience was excellent. I’d recommend Jupiter to anyone looking for great food and service in an upscale setting.
September 02 · Ruslan K.Had a wonderful business dinner at this lovely spot! Staff was impeccable and friendly, the food was fresh, tasty and nutritious, and the ambiance amazing; the decor lighting and atmosphere was perfect. The tables are comfortable to eat at, they have a great menu with an array of choices that also were beautifully creative. It’s tough to find a good spot in the area to have a wonderful dinner without all the fuss and I highly recommend Jupiter! Really a gem 💎 in the area, thank you to the team who created a fantastic experience!
August 12 · Brigitte BertrandI REALLY enjoyed my time at Jupiter. I am in love with the aesthetic. Midcentury Modernism meets futuristic vibes. The service was excellent. We started with drinks at the bar and our bartender was incredible. Very kind, really attentive, and made excellent cocktails. I went off menu and asked for the Hugo spritz which was super delicious. After that, we tried incredible appetizers (the burrata and artichokes) both were outstanding. My husband got the grilled fish for his entree and I got the cacio e Pepe. Both were satisfying and high quality. For being in the middle of a tourist trap, the food was exceptional! One critique, I do think for the price point, focaccia bread should be included with the burrata but that’s just me!
July 23 · Eric SalgadoVery attentive and friendly staff.Cocktails and appetizer ( striped bass crudo) are excellent. Tiramisu is up to par.Location is amazing considering it is at the Rockefeller rink area!
August 01 · Faye ZimmermannWe tried booking over the phone and they didn’t have availability for the next couple of hours, but we were able to book through Resy, and they kindly seated us when we arrived. Upon receiving the menus, we were ready to order within 3 minutes, but we waited 15 minutes for our waiter to come back. Upon ordering, appetizer came after another 15 minutes, and the main course 20 minutes after that. I will say, other tables seemed to be served a bit quicker, and the rest of the staff seemed nice. The restaurant was half-empty, so these delays are frustrating enough, but the portion sizes were ridiculous. I ordered the Tonnarelli (cacio e pepe), and I could capture every noodle in one fork-spin. Only reason this isn’t a one-star is because the taste (6/10) and outdoor seating were fine, though the umbrellas blocked the view. Some friends hated their dishes though. Caeser salad and cheapest pasta plate came out to nearly $65 after tax/gratuity. Perhaps the most disappointing experience of my second NYC trip.
