★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1KC BBQ & Hotpot is a fantastic dining experience! The food is fresh and delicious, with flavorful hotpot broths and perfectly grilled BBQ meats. The restaurant is clean and cozy, great for friends and family. Special thanks to the two male servers—they were very friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. Highly recommended!
April 30 · SI visited KC BBQ & Hotpot for my mom’s birthday, and overall, it was a great experience! When we first arrived around 4:45 PM on a Saturday, the place was pretty empty—only one other table—so the atmosphere felt a little quiet. But as the night went on, it got packed, which definitely made it feel livelier. The food was really good! We opted for the Korean BBQ, which is $31 per person, and you can order as much as you want—just make sure to finish everything. The fried rice was absolutely amazing, and the steak sirloins were top-notch. One minor mix-up was the sauce—I thought I was getting sesame sauce, but it turned out to be peanut sauce. Not a big deal for me, but for someone with a nut allergy, that could have been an issue.Service was fast! Our first batch of meat came out within minutes, which was impressive. They also provide appetizers like chicken nuggets, wings, and mozzarella sticks to snack on while you wait. One thing I found interesting was that they swap out the grill plate every time you cook a new round of meat. It makes sense for cleanliness, but it also means waiting for the new one to heat up, which can slow things down a bit.A cool perk is their birthday deal—if it's within three days of your birthday, you get a free meal! The staff even sang happy birthday for my mom, which made her night extra special.Overall, I’d give this place 4 stars. The food and service were great, but the atmosphere could be more inviting, and if you’ve had authentic Korean BBQ or hot pot in Asia, this might feel more like the Applebee’s version—good, but not quite the same. That said, I’m definitely coming back to try the hot pot!Tip: Arrive early on weekends to avoid a wait, and double-check your sauces if you have any allergies.
February 16 · Chris JackHorrible. No greeting no nothing. They don’t even refill your soup so it’s just a burning mess. They don’t even collect your plates plus all the food is fake. They use the cheapest brands of food. The shrimp paste is like an airy sponge when cooked. Do not come here. I only came here for the free ice cream
April 28 · ZoeyAnybody looking for KC Hotpot, as of 10/1/2025 it is no longer there. The new place is called Lucky 99. I was reviewing the menu as it was under a different name thinking they rebranded but I don’t think it is. The Lucky99 HotPot only lets you have Hotpot AND BBQ, you can’t pick one or another , it has to be both. I believe the lunch prices for BBQ and hotpot together are $21.99 but the dinner is $41.99 per a person. The hostess was nice with answering my questions regarding the new prices, but $41.99 for something that had used to be a cheap dinner before it became a new place along with being forced to do both the options is no longer worth it. This is just a heads up to whomever may be looking.
October 02 · Pina ColadaWe recently dined at KC BBQ & Hotpot and chose the hotpot option, and it was an outstanding experience! The variety of fresh ingredients available was impressive, with a wide selection of meats, seafood, and vegetables. The broths were rich and flavorful, perfectly complementing the high-quality ingredients. The restaurant was clean and inviting, with a pleasant ambiance, and drinks and ice cream were included, which was a delightful bonus. The staff was attentive and friendly, always ready to help and ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, KC BBQ & Hotpot provides a fantastic hotpot experience that I highly recommend!
July 02 · Fazzix Lockwho ever is looking for the place this used to be before the rebranding, it’s gone forever. DO NOT COME HERE. it’s nothing like it used to be and honestly a downgrade, as you can see in my photos, they got rid of the tablet system, and everything is a buffet style, furthermore, it’s a glorified kitchen/ grocery store, not only do you have to cook your own meats but you have to get up and get them from the freezer and everything else. This spot used to be an experience, now it’s just a shell of the place it used to be. You are better off going to the kpot on the island, anywhere but here, it’s just not the same and more expensive. the hot pots were mid, mid flavors and the meats were super cheap, the white rice was overcooked and not the usual sticky white rice they serve in these spots, no kimichi , no cheese corn, what happened to these staples? sigh, :( miss the old owners forever and this used to be one of my favorite spots but the way this new branding/ owners handled this transition, was really not okay, just one day it was closed, and than it was closed for a while and all of sudden it’s open, and now it’s charging more. get out of town. :( will miss you forever KC BBQ & Hotpot, IT SEEMS like they got rid of the bar too… rip.
October 05 · Kimberly TorresAnyone who knows me knows that I love a good AYCE and this place did not disappoint! While visiting my family in SI, we stopped by KC for Hotpot & BBQ (it was a $5 difference for both, which is a pretty good deal imo).I was really impressed with the the quality and variety of the food, particularly the hotpot selection. Everything was super fresh - the highlight being the meat and seafood! As someone who enjoys variety, they also had a great dessert and beverage selection (all of which are complimentary). My only complaint was that the broth was a tad saltier than I'd like. Nonetheless, we had a great meal and will def be returning! If you haven't been to KC, def give them a try. It's a major upgrade to the previous hot pot/kbbq place that was here.
