Really good lunch spot. Very fairly priced. Highly recommend their soft tofu soup. I also liked their bowl have base option as kimchi fried rice not just plain rice or noodle.
August 11 · Arin TsedenbalOMG! Amazing Chipotle-like Korean restaurant with tons of carb, protein, and veggie options! The pork dishes totally reminded me of authentic Korean cuisine. Yum yum, so delish! 🍱🍗What really surprised me was the generous portion sizes, which I rarely see around NYC these days, especially at this price. Every dish I tried was fresh, healthy, and had clean flavors. I really hope they open a spot upstate New York someday because it would definitely be my go-to lunch place!
August 11 · Eunice ChoiFinally got around to trying this place and picked up lunch. I ordered the single and selected japchae as my base, bulgogi as my protein (up charge) and 5 sides (potato salad, sweet cucumber, kale, kimchi, and spicy tofu broccoli) then added sriracha mayo for the sauce (originally wanted sesame aioli but they ran out). It came out to be around $17. It’s a hearty meal and a good sized portion. The bulgogi was a bit too salty for me but everything else was tasty. The staff were also very friendly. There’s also lots of tables to sit and dine. Would like to try their noodle dish next time.
June 06 · Nicole KimThis place is gorgeous! My new favorite hidden spot in Lower Manhattan. I love Korean tofu soup ( soondubu ) and i used to go to BCD in midtown but so glad I don’t have to! The tofu soup was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The silky tofu melted and the broth was comforting and deeply savory. It came bubbling hot with a side of rice and banchan, making it a perfect hearty meal. The protein bowl ( i guess small size) was so good too, portion was not small for decent price. I will definitely be back!!
September 06 · Brandon LI had high hopes given the good reviews, but my experience didn’t match. The food was just okay, and the ramen was way too salty, making it hard to enjoy. Other dishes also lacked the fresh, balanced flavors I expected. Portion size didn’t feel worth the price, and service is okay since we are the only ones around for dinner. For the cost, there are better Korean options nearby. Disappointing overall
