The Lamb Skewers are a mandatory choice, often available in a 10-piece or 20-piece serving. Customers rave about the quality, noting that the lamb is flavorful without the gamey taste that can sometimes deter diners. The Signature Half-Lamb Skewers are also a highly-recommended variation.
Beyond the signature lamb, you should explore the wide range of proteins, particularly the Crispy Pork Intestines Skewers which are praised for their perfect crispy exterior and juicy interior, and the Grilled Chicken Skin Skewers for a flavorful, textural experience. Other savory recommendations include the Crispy Chicken Cartilage Skewers, Squid Tentacles Skewers, and the Grilled Beef Sausage. For the adventurous palate, the Beef Aorta is a local favorite.
For a deep dive into specialty dishes, the Durian Pizza is a surprisingly popular and lauded dish, combining melted cheese with the pungent fruit for a unique sweet-and-savory experience that has become a must-try. Another popular option from the 'Sizzling Grill' section is the Boss Tofu. The menu also features hearty earthenware pot dishes, such as the Lamb Spine Soup and Golden Broth Beef, which offer warm, deeply-flavored alternatives to the skewers.
Accompany your meal with popular snacks like the Cucumber Salad, Handmade Cold Noodles, or the fresh seafood options such as the Steamed Scallops With Garlic And Vermicelli or the Grilled Oyster. To finish the experience, consider the Handmade Brown Sugar Glutinous Rice Cake for a traditional sweet treat. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A little hidden gem in Flushing! We came here late at night after a concert, and to my surprise, there was a bit of a wait. We decided to give it a shot based on the great reviews we’d heard. The skewers were really good—especially the lamb. I usually avoid lamb because of its gamey taste, but this restaurant actually made it delicious. I would recommend trying the beef aorta, lamb, chicken gizzards, and beef skewers. The pork belly chicken from the old days soup was also quite good & tasty. The food came out quickly, which made the experience even better. I will definitely come back to this restaurant again.
August 23 · Chloe K CAte at their locations all the way from LA to NY. The taste is quite consistent across branches. The decor and quality of the dishes are solid. As the name suggests, their main focus is on drinks, but the skewers are also good. I really like their grilled pork intestine. It’s crispy on the outside while still retaining that juicy, meaty texture. Most of the skewers are small and perfect to pair with alcohol. It’s a nice spot to hang out with friends over drinks and some bites every now and then
April 06 · Sixi MaThe food here is really good. The prices of the kabobs are very worth it. They have live singing, it's a very good vibe. I recommend this spot. It's one of the better places I've eaten at in flushing recently. It's the perfect place to come eat food and chill with your friends.
June 07 · Erik ZVisited Little Skewer around 7:30 PM and, as expected, had quite a wait. But with the lively atmosphere, the anticipation only built up the excitement for the meal ahead. The live singing added a fun, energetic touch, making the wait more enjoyable. For appetizers, we started with the Grilled Cold Noodles, which had a nice chewy texture but could use a bit more flavor to really stand out. Cold noodles have roots in northeastern China, where they are often grilled with sauces and spices for a balance of chewy and crispy textures. Now skewers, or chuan (串), have a long history in Chinese cuisine, originating from the street food culture of northern China, particularly in Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia. These grilled delights were traditionally made with lamb, seasoned with cumin, chili, and other bold spices, reflecting the region’s love for robust flavors. Over time, skewers became a nationwide favorite, evolving with different regional influences and ingredients. At Little Skewer, we got to experience this tradition firsthand with a variety of grilled skewers, including beef, lamb, chicken gizzard, fish tofu, pork, and cauliflower. Each skewer was grilled to perfection, with juicy, flavorful bites. The cauliflower was a nice surprise charred just right, adding a smoky, slightly crunchy contrast to the meats. While the seasoning was delicious, some skewers leaned a bit on the sweeter side for my preference, so I’ll be going for the spicier options next time. The Golden Broth Beef was definitely a highlight this type of broth is inspired by the sour and spicy flavors found in Sichuan and Guizhou cuisine, known for their love of pickled ingredients, chili, and numbing Sichuan peppercorns. The fatty beef, thin vermicelli noodles, wood fungus, sausage, and cabbage all came together beautifully in a rich and fragrant soup with an addictive spicy-sour kick.To complement our meal, we went with their 9-shot special, choosing peach, lychee, and osmanthus. Osmanthus has been used in Chinese teas and desserts for centuries, known for its floral aroma and subtle sweetness. The peach was sweet and aromatic, the lychee had a lovely floral note without being overpowering, and the osmanthus was delicate but a little too subtle in taste. Definitely a fun and unique way to enjoy the meal! This is a spot that blends great food, drinks, and an inviting atmosphere. The combination of well-seasoned skewers, comforting broths, and live music makes it a place worth revisiting. It’s a fantastic place to enjoy the rich, diverse history of Chinese skewers and hot dishes in a modern, vibrant setting. Still plenty on the menu to explore—already looking forward to my next visit!
March 22 · Kimberly Lim LegaspiI really enjoyed dinner here with fun delicious lamb skewer, tofu skin, and spicy clam soup. I have the atmosphere with live music and cozy interior.
