★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I experienced the Kamayan feast with some friends and it was AMAZING! Lots of meats/seafood to try and every single piece was delicious…WOW! We also got a chance to catch the karaoke night/live band which was also amazing! Excellent time all around. Highly recommend!
May 25 · Mitsy D.It’s a long ride from the UWS. But it was worth it.It’s as good as my mom’s. Actually, it’s better because tbh, my mom wasn’t into cooking.Normally, when I’m missing home, I go to Renee’s but sometimes, ya need a drank or three before getting down to Lechon town.Skip the squid on the stick, Buboy. You’re too old for Tik Tok and it’s mid. Save that stomach space for another pork entree.
July 06 · Yür MůmzŶWow! Food was so good and staff were so friendly! This is the 3rd time we tried to dine in at a Filipino restaurant in woodside, we didn't get a nice experience at Max last time. Anyway,I love their Kare Kare and husband enjoyed their sinigang, it was flavorful! And of course, you always need to get a halo halo.It was nice meeting the team.. you guys rock!If you're looking for a nice friendly Filipino restaurant and good food, look no further. ☺️
April 26 · Nami WallflowersThe food at Kusina Pinoy Bristo was ok. Nothing really stand out with the flavor. Max Restaurant around the corner has more consistent flavor and better price. The Sinigang wasn’t as flavorful as I thought it would be and the pork lumpia was a total rip off. They gave you 3 piece lumpia chopped for $12; it had some after tasted I can’t describe. The pork Sisig was nicely presented but then again the flavor was lacking. I was overall disappointed. You better off to go it Ihawan around the corner or kabayan across the street since they have better flavor and service.was I went there with 4 people during a live session and they told me there is a 10 charge table because of the live performance. They didn’t clarify that it was 10 dollars per head, which was ok. The singer opened up for requests. As I sent my request song to her, she bluntly rejected my request due to poor legibility and made fun of it in front of the audience.
April 18 · Just LVisited Kusina Pinoy Bistro on a Wednesday evening and was pleased to find no wait for a table. We ordered quite a feast, including the Giant Fried Squid, Bulalo, Pompano, Ginataang Kalabasa, and Pork Isaw. To cap it off, we had the Leche Flan for dessert. I was particularly surprised by the generous serving of the Bulalo, which could easily feed a family. Everything arrived at our table piping hot. The ambiance of the restaurant was also quite nice and spacious. For those looking for entertainment, they have karaoke available, and I was told they feature live bands on the weekends. Overall, I highly recommend Kusina Pinoy Bistro to anyone wanting to try authentic Filipino food and get a taste of the culture.
