Craving a taste of homeWe decided to satisfy it with some classic Filipino dishes and this place always did not disappoint. We ordered our all time favorite, the sisig na bangus, which was incredibly tender and full of flavor. The sinigang na baka and pancit bihon made the perfect pairing. Don't forget to order turon with ice cream after hahaa it really melts in your mouth. Service is amazing. One of the best Filipino restaurants in Queens NY.Highly recommend!

Oh we enjoyed the food. The Bicol express, laing, sisig and the bam-i,garlic rice were all delicious. They did forget my rice though that supposed to come with my laing. I call for attention and got it after awhile. Though it would be great if they come and ask us how the food were or if there something else that we need.Ambiance was nice. Hard to find street parking so we parked at the GR garage for 2 hours and paid $10.It is not a far walk around little Manila. We explore a little bit around little Manila after eating trying to find the next restaurant that we gonna try nextime. Buy yeahh the food was great and we will be back there someday

I've been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, especially for Filipino food during parties and special gatherings. Unfortunately, my recent visits have been disappointing and far from the great experience I used to have.The place itself no longer feels welcoming — it’s noticeably dirty and not well maintained. What truly sealed the disappointment was the food. About two months ago, I ordered pork belly, and it was undercooked — something I never expected from a place I trusted. I had to send it back to the kitchen. I gave them another chance today and even brought a few friends along, hoping for a better experience, but sadly the pork belly was again undercooked. I showed it to the server, and while they acknowledged it, this kind of inconsistency is unacceptable.On top of that, the kalderetang kambing we ordered was honestly the worst I’ve had — lacking flavor, texture, and care in preparation.This used to be my go-to spot to satisfy my Filipino food cravings, but it seems like quality control is no longer a priority. I hope management seriously reconsiders their kitchen standards and brings back the consistency and heart this place was once known for.

Our first time trying Kabayan 👍🏽 definitely not the last! Service is really good and they are prompt as well.. We opt to ordering more vegies when we went.. would definitely come back and try other dishes! The ambience is so sosyalan 🤣 ❤️

The lechon kawali (comes with rice, $16.95 plus tax) and the ukoy ($12.95) were both excellent, enough to share or to take home for leftovers. It did take 25 minutes for the food to come out.Kabayan definitely has the humorous if not slightly tacky feel of a karaoke lounge. It’s like you’re transported to the Philippines.
