★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had an amazing experience at KYU in New York! Every dish I tried was unforgettable — I had three incredible plates, each one full of flavor and beautifully presented. The two cocktails I ordered were delicious. On top of that, the staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made me feel truly welcome. From start to finish, everything about this place exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to come back!
May 12 · Mariana PradoI stopped by this Asian-inspired restaurant just for dessert, and now I can’t wait to go back and try the full menu! I had three desserts: Mom’s Coconut Cake, Dark Chocolate S’mores Cake, and The KYU Cinnamon Roll, and each one was unique and delicious in its own way.Mom’s Coconut Cake with coconut ice cream absolutely stole the show for me. I’m usually not a big coconut person, but this one changed my mind. Fluffy coconut cake, creamy coconut ice cream, and coconut flakes all work together without being overly sweet. The Dark Chocolate S’mores Cake was rich and satisfying, and the banana bourbon ice cream that came with it was incredible. I’d order that ice cream on its own!The KYU Cinnamon Roll came with black sugar and chai frosting, super flavorful and clearly a signature dish. Loved the twist on a classic.Even though I only had dessert, I’m already looking forward to coming back for a full meal. Highly recommend starting (or ending) your visit with that coconut cake!
September 07 · Bella LuWe had dinner at KYU in NYC as a party of six, and overall it was a great experience. The food was exceptional—especially the duck, which was perfectly cooked and rich in flavor. The ambiance was stylish yet comfortable, making it a great spot for a group dinner.Only downside was the timing—dishes came out one by one, so some of us were eating while others were just waiting and watching. For a place like this, it would’ve been better if everything came out together.Still, the vibe was great and I’d definitely go back!
June 04 · Alex PaulI went to Kyu for the first time tonight for dinner and the ambiance was terrific. My buddy and I had a tremendous experience! We were served by Celeste, who went above and beyond in making sure we enjoyed our time at Kyu. She recommended the short ribs, and it was a 10/10. The HAMACHI CRISPY RICE was also incredible. I enthusiastically recommend hitting Kyu with an adventurous attitude and you will leave satisfied about your decision to come here. Save room for dessert too, it was delicious
August 14 · Eric BealOverpriced but honestly good. The japanese sweet potato is delicious. The smores cake is insaneee i would go back for that alone.Dining room blasts music but the speakers are kind of good so you can actually still hear the person across from you. It's really odd.
