The star of the show is the Shawarma lineup, which includes options like the signature Doner Beef and Doner Chicken, available over rice or in various formats. Despite some mixed feedback regarding flavor complexity and consistency, the value proposition—a substantial meal for a great price—is consistently a winning factor for New York diners.
The signature dishes are unequivocally the Shawarma and Doner preparations. The menu makes it easy to customize your main dish: you can opt for the Beef Lavash (Wrap) ($11.99) or the Chicken Lavash (Wrap) ($10.99) for a hand-held, quick meal. For those who want the best of both worlds, the Mix Lavash (Wrap) ($11.99) or the Mix Home Bread ($11.99) provides a combination of the available beef and chicken Doner meats, ensuring a varied and hearty experience. Based on customer experience noting the generous quantity, ordering any of the main Doner or Lavash items guarantees a substantial, satisfying portion that offers great value for your money.
While some constructive feedback suggested that the quality, particularly the meat (salty beef, slightly stale in one instance) and the simple side salad (just chopped tomatoes and cucumbers), could be improved, the fact remains that these items are the foundation of the menu. New Yorkers should approach LavashUzN1 knowing they are choosing a fast, high-volume spot that excels in providing deep comfort and large portions, which is often the priority for a quick lunch or dinner.
For a side that complements the main dish, the **French Fries ($3.99)** are a classic Small plate choice. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’m giving 4 stars mainly because the portion size was very good, but slightly disappointed with the quality. This spot has its own dedicated location for this kind of food, so I expected better. I got the Mix Doner (Chicken & Beef).1. Salad:The salad was disappointing, just chopped tomatoes and cucumbers. I expected a proper variety with pickles, shredded carrots, cheese, etc.2. Meat Quality:The chicken and beef were alright. Nothing special. The beef was a little too salty. I suggest you add lamb meat to the menu.3. Sauce:The white sauce tasted more like mayo.Overall, this spot is good and worth a try, but just left my thoughts for their improvement.
May 30 · Doc MaxwellHello everyone,We recently visited this LavashUz for dinner and ordered shawarma. Unfortunately, the meat tasted stale and lacked flavor — definitely not what we expected. The overall quality was disappointing, and we felt our time was wasted coming here…
September 12 · shaxboz shaxbozI just had the beef lavash, and it was absolutely incredible! The meat was juicy and flavorful, served steaming hot and wrapped in warm, soft bread. It had just the right amount of seasoning—flavorful but not overly spicy, making it enjoyable without overwhelming the palate. I truly loved every bite!
April 17 · ZAKIR AHMADTried beef and chicken shawarma wraps two times. It’s a new place so, after first time thought they will do better, but it’s not improved. Their communication is good. Shawarma is totally tasteless. Meat is bland, no spices, no taste at all, feels like meat was boiled not grilled. Maybe it’s because they use only beef not lamb. White sauce is just a mayo, when it’s hot it becomes oily and soggy. Also, for this price it’s too small.
