★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Just a whole lot of fun. If you love Broadway songs, it’s a great place to be to sing your heart out. Pianist was a great singer and a whole lot of fun. Servers also had a chance to perform. It’s a small space and gets really cramped but worth it.Note that this place is cash only and a minimum of 2 drinks per person, plus it’s expected that you tip the team. We also had to wait around 30-40 minutes to get in on a Saturday night.
October 21 · Christina W.Always a great time here. The atmosphere is amazing. I love watching people enter the café singing whatever is being played on the piano. Cheap drinks, cash only
April 19 · Mark ScantleburyI’m so disappointed with my night at Marie’s crisis. What was supposed to be a fun and safe evening to celebrate my friends birthday was a night filled with ego and negative energy. For a place I go to in order to feel safe — it felt the exact opposite. It felt as though anyone who spoke a whisper too loud or who didn’t know the words to a song were being extremely called out by the pianist of the night. Marie’s crisis has always been somewhere I go to experience the love of music but tonight things felt as sinister as the state of the world.
July 18 · ElizabethThe vibe at Marie’s Crisis is always chill. The drinks and bartenders are always great. But, the real reason we’re there is to sing along to show tunes with fellow musical theater fans as skilled pianists play these indelible songs for us. The warmth and happiness within the walls of this establishment is always a welcome escape from our world.
August 27 · David ClarkeThis is definitely a dive bar but the crowd is friendly, and it's worth a visit if you love show tunes with sing-a-long music! This is an experience in itself. There’s a lot of talent inside the walls of Marie’s Crisis…
