★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It was such a wonderful dinner at Massara On Park. I had a great time with all my friends that I haven’t seen them for so long. We were catching up on each others, sipping cocktails, eating good food and experiencing great service. Everyone was very happy and enjoyed our time at Massara. Definitely worth every penny.
August 14 · FRANK PINSETThe kitchen and the house were really rockin’ it last evening. Every dish was beyond excellent. We did our usual Candele and Corteccia (because we just can’t help ourselves), but I also tried the lobster Quadratti, which was a knockout. The grilled baby corn and the market greens with beans were also uniquely delicious. The dishes appear to be simple, and land on your pallet as brightly flavorful, but they are quietly complex and the combination is magic. They really have a smart top-notch kitchen going. Also loved the “wine of the week,” amuse, and desserts. And, of course the entire dining room team was delightful and on point. We keep coming back for all of it. (The recent fire and relocation hasn’t dampened their quality, capability, or spirit, and the temporary space is worthy of date nights and special occasions…or just a good time like we had. So go!)
August 10 · Jim KempsterFood was really good but was outshined by the terrible service. First, the hostess was not nice at all. Then we were sat at 8:45pm and only received the food menus at 9pm, after asking for it multiple times. Server was not nice or pleasant. After then chasing her down again to order food, we ordered at 9:05pm. Food only arrived at 9:50pm. When we asked, very politely, if the food was arriving, we did not get an apology or anything. We were so disappointed. Then after we finished eating, the dirty plates sat on the table for more than 15 minutes. Mind you, the restaurant was empty at this point. One of the worst services I’ve seen in a while. The manager was very sweet when we complained.
September 10 · Chiara FrançaIf you had to just get two things, get the corteccia (my favorite) and the candele. Those pasta dishes are insanely delicious. Everything else we got was good too, although relatively less memorable. Service is very attentive here. My only qualm is that the quantities are quite small. Otherwise, it's a good spot I'd recommend trying once if you're in the area.
August 18 · Khoi PhamFor the pasta alone, it was great great great. Would not recommend the market price steak as the cut of meat was not very good — tons of silver skin throughout and not worth ordering.
