Today I had my baby sprinkle event, hosted at Matsu. Jasmine and the entire staff did an EXTRAORDINARY job, every step of the way. The planning process was so enjoyable because of Jasmine, and at the event the team took every moment to make sure I felt (and my guests felt) honored and appreciated. It was truly a gift to work with them, and to enjoy the absolutely mind-blowing meal they delivered. I highly recommend anyone to host an event at Matsu. They create truly cherished memories to last a lifetime.

Really delicious sushi and friendly staff. We were happily surprised when they took the time to make us a beautiful boat presentation for our order - we were not expecting it, but it made the experience even better! We will definitely be back. (PS - you can BYO...we brought some Japanese beer)

Today we had my daughter's bridal shower at Matsu Sushi & Grill. We are very pleased with our experience. Although the party began at noon, we were given access 90 minutes before the "start" time to decorate the room. The staff was very helpful with our decorating and their cooperative attitude was apparent for the duration of our event. The room looked beautiful. The food was attractively presented, and the sushi was delicious. A great time was had by all. If we were going to host another event, I would definitely hold it again at Matsu Sushi & Grill.

We have been coming to Matsu in Hillsdale, New Jersey for quite some time now even before Covid. After Covid as you all know, restaurants changed most with delivery or pick up but now that we can sit inside, we came across New management and it is absolutely wonderful the presentations of the food, the food itself, and most importantly the service! It is run by a family and you can feel the joy and hard work that they all put into running the new Matsu! If you are in the area stop in and enjoy some really good SUSHI!!!! And A MUST HAVE is green tea, ice cream as your dessert!!!!
