★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It was a pleasant experience enjoying the delicious cuisine of Bangladesh. The menu offers a good variety of flavorful dishes, and the service was also excellent. One drawback, however, is that rice is not included with curry orders and must be purchased separately — something I haven't encountered elsewhere and found a bit unusual. Aside from that, I would definitely recommend this place.
June 05 · Miah ArifNice place, kind of cold inside. Servicer spoke very low but attentive, very nice.Hilsha dim $29.99 pricey, did not taste like home, very bland, it seemed boiled. Jura beef was very delicious. Khuda rice first time tried it, they made it with black seed, it was not all that. Vhorthas were very delicious. Hilsha tail vhortha portion size was very low. Rice and daal was charged extra. Everything else tasted very delicious. If you are tipping, the tip does not go to the server. I tipped with card, should had handed the waiter the tip instead.
August 05 · Mahbuba ShahrinTruely a hidden gem, a bit isolated from the other BD restaurants. They offer mostly Chittagong type cuisine like mezban, chana daal and kala vuna. They also serve different types of bangladeshi dishes like chui jhal, hilsha egg etc. Their portions are generous and also their jorda is a must try. The shop is a bit small and less crowded, but we will come here again
August 18 · Nabil IbtehazI recently visited a new Bengali restaurant that caught my attention with its promise of authentic and unique regional dishes. The menu stood out from the usual offerings, showcasing traditional items like the Khude Vaat and Barta Platter and the Mejban Platter, which are rarely found elsewhere. While the food presentation was thoughtfully done and the staff were warm and friendly, the overall taste didn’t quite live up to expectations. The flavors lacked the depth and richness I was hoping for, especially considering the cultural vibrancy of Bengali cuisine. It's a place with potential, especially for those curious to try something different. However, the kitchen might need to fine-tune the recipes to truly bring out the soul of these traditional dishes.
April 30 · Aatiq AntiqueThe food is awful. I got the bhorta platter, it was served cold and dry. I think it was a few days old. The rice was terrible, idk how that is possible. The roast and chicken pulaow was nasty. SO MUCH SALT. I found hair in my food. You think you are getting tasty food because of the price but you are just being scammed. I have no issue paying more for good food and service. Don’t believe any of the other 4-5 star reviews.
