Misi Introduce
Welcome, New Yorkers, to a culinary destination that celebrates the heart and soul of Italian cooking with a refined, Brooklyn sensibility: **Misi**. Located on the vibrant waterfront in Williamsburg, Misi is not merely an Italian restaurant; it is a meticulous celebration of simple, seasonal ingredients, focusing intensely on two primary pillars: sublime vegetable antipasti and perfect, **freshly made pasta**. Under the direction of acclaimed Chef Missy Robbins, Misi has swiftly established itself as a must-visit spot, offering an **Upscale**, **Romantic**, and **Trendy** dining experience that is a true reflection of the city’s evolving fine dining scene.
The atmosphere at Misi strikes a sophisticated balance. It's **Cozy** yet modern, designed to feel special without being stuffy. Misi is perfectly positioned in South Williamsburg at **329 Kent Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249, USA**. This prime location along the waterfront is central to the neighborhood’s trendy dining scene and easily accessible from Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The best Italian restaurant I've ever been to, especially considering that I'm not a big fan of pasta, is Misi. Their freshly made pasta is absolutely delicious. My favorites included the whipped ricotta toast and the gnocchi with pork sausage. I must say, the pistachio gelato was the best I've ever tasted in my life! The olive oil gelato was equally impressive, a bold flavor that was great. The staff were very friendly, and I look forward to visiting again!
September 01 · Thazin L.Incredibly small portions for the pastas. The pasta tasted fine, but for $30 per pasta, I would’ve expected it to wow me given the portion size. The leek appetizer was extremely vinegary though which was unexpected — wouldn’t recommend.
September 07 · brennan loMisi is a beautiful restaurant with a sleek, spacious interior. When I visited on a Friday night, there was plenty of open seating at the bar, and the ambiance was warm and lively without being too loud—perfect for conversation. The service was friendly and attentive, even with a full house. That said, the food didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. The ricotta toast with mushrooms was underwhelming (the bread was burnt so that didn’t help), and the two pastas we tried were just okay—nothing particularly memorable. The olive oil ice cream was bold, with a very pronounced olive oil flavor that might not be for everyone.Overall, it’s a lovely setting with great service, but the food fell a bit short of expectations.
June 07 · Sarah HuiFabulous for and unfussy dinner. The pastas were top notch - pillowy ravioli stuffed with lemony ricotta in a creamy sauce and delicious gnocchi. I recommend getting a few starters. The grilled artichokes were especially delicious. The cocktails were solid. Service is brisk and our server gave great recommendations and we agreed with her assessments. The only disappointment were roasted tomatoes which were a bit too sweet for my tastes. Also I suggest that the hostesses let guests know if they will be seated at the bar, particularly if it’s one of the seats on the interior of the bar close to the kitchen. These seats are not ideal, particularly on a warm day. Prices are reasonable.
July 30 · Darice FMisi was an amazing surprise. Better than I was expecting. The ricotta toast was DELICIOUS. Tha pasta is so fresh and cooked perfectly. Spinach and mascarpone was my favorite, but the sheep’s milk ricotta filled occhi, bottarga, lemon was so delicious. We need to talk about the gelato… OMG. We tried the pistachio and it is one of the best i ate in my entire life. Staff was so friendly and fast. Amazing. Definitely will come back and recommend. 🤩
