A customer review enthusiastically states, "The matcha is the star—bold, fragrant, and not overly sweet," a testament to the cafe's dedication to quality. The menu is a journey through different forms of green tea delight, from rich parfaits and creamy lattes to decadent cakes. One of the standout features is the hojicha, a roasted green tea with a smoky, nutty flavor that provides a delicious alternative to matcha for those looking for something a little different. A reviewer noted that the hojicha parfait had a "rich hojicha flavor" and was a delightful experience. This variety, combined with the consistent quality that tastes "just like the one in Japan," makes Nana's Green Tea a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Japanese sweets and beverages.

This focus on their core offerings has made them a popular destination for college students and tourists alike, seeking a quick and satisfying sweet treat. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Been here several times and have tried almost all the flavors and I can say it tastes just like the one in Japan! It is desserts only (parfaits, cakes, and lattes), unlike other locations with food items. The parfaits will cost around $13 but they are so good.Matcha parfait: very good matcha flavor, I like getting the nama chocolate. It is very rich and you will likely want water to go with itHojicha parfait: rich hojicha flavor, liked the syrup at the end and overall I think hojicha adds to the sweetness.Seasonal spring Sakura strawberry parfait: it was an extra $2 so I had high hopes and was not disappointed. Topped with strawberry, Sakura bean paste, and mochi with Sakura ice cream, vanilla and Sakura soft serve, and strawberry syrup.Hojicha chocolate cake: it was okay but not my favorite type of cake, a denser cake with more texture. I liked the flavor of it, though!
April 29 · Kai LianaA true heaven for matcha lovers. Bright, airy space with a relaxed vibe. The matcha is the star—bold, fragrant, and not overly sweet. Tons of options from soft serve and parfaits to lattes. My favorites were the Matcha Parfait (with matcha nama cubes, red bean, and tea jelly) and the Iced Matcha Latte—a perfect combo. A must-visit if you love green tea.
September 03 · Wattanachai CHSpacious, but packed spot right on the corner of Ktown. The desserts here are all pretty solid - the matcha taste is distinct in the ice cream and it's not overtly sweet. For their soft serves, you can opt for a cup instead of their cone. The parfaits are pretty; a bit impractical to eat, considering the shape of the tall cup and short spoon. They call your number out when your order is ready to grab from the counter. The bathroom code is on the receipt. There are tons of seats, but they're always taken, since there's no seating limit, so you'd likely get a table once you see a party leave. Overall, a decent spot for a post-meal treat!
July 30 · Veronica LeongThe matcha was great, amazing flavor and color, and the milk soft serve on top was super creamy and delicious. I love the design of the store, had a cute wooden chill vibe in there, and was in the heart of Korea town. I would be careful of which time and day you come, because it can get really busy, I was lucky to find a seat! Definitely would come again, fairly priced(for nyc 😅) and great place to just chill! (Keep your receipt for the bathroom, it’s locked)
July 27 · Sally WNana’s Green Tea is a dessert lover’s dream! Their matcha soft serve is unbelievably smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just pure matcha goodness. The texture is so creamy and refreshing, and the presentation makes it even more enjoyable. Easily the best matcha soft serve I’ve had in New York, and absolutely worth the trip!
