★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I came here on a Friday night for dinner in late August around 730pm with four other people. The weather outside was gorgeous and it was the start of Labor Day weekend. We were able to make the reservation a few days prior. It seemed like the restaurant might have had availability for walk-ins but I cannot confirm. The inside of the restaurant is very well designed and appealing. I think it’s made to feel like you are in an Asian street market with a chic dining room. There is a relatively large bar in the front and a dining room in the back. I believe there is also seating upstairs. On the night we went, there was only one bar tender for the entire restaurant. As a result, we would wait 15-20 minutes for any drink from the bar which is unacceptable to me. Some of our food, also came out in consistent with what was ordered. The staff were all lovely and the manager was very apologetic and tried to compensate for the long bar wait times but there obviously wasn’t much she could do to speed up the process. The food itself was fine. Most of it looked better than it tasted. Especially for the price, I would say you can get much better tastin comparable food elsewhere.I likely wouldn’t seek out another dining experience here, but if someone suggested it as an option, I wouldn’t protest.
September 01 · David JosephCame here for drinks and was impressed by the atmosphere! Loving the Hong Kong inspired decor. My favorite cocktails were the Plum Spritz and the Old Old New New.Happy hour drinks were nice and unique. Our bartender was nice and attentive. Looking forward to coming back here for some food!
September 01 · Jason EngI stumbled upon this spot while waiting for a friend nearby and was genuinely impressed. The interior is adorable, super clean, and has such a cozy vibe. The staff was incredibly attentive, especially the bartender (wish I got her name!) who was super helpful and welcoming.Their happy hour is a steal—running daily from 12 to 7pm with great deals on both drinks and food. The cocktails were delicious, and the overall atmosphere made it such a great find. There’s plenty of indoor seating, and I’m already planning to come back to try the food. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out!
August 08 · TaylorGreat atmosphere and delicious food with real wok hei. Loved the lobster yee mein, claypot rice, and black pepper beef. Friendly service and would definitely come back.
August 10 · Jessica HuangI had an amazing dining experience at Nomad Tea Parlour in Manhattan! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was absolutely beautiful — cozy, modern, and perfect for a relaxing afternoon meal. I sat in a booth with a perfect view of the restaurant, which really set the vibe.My son and I started with sparkling water and ordered three delicious starters: the crab meat egg rolls, sticky ribs, and General Tso’s chicken. For our entrée, we had the Singapore Duck Fried Rice paired with more General Tso’s chicken — every bite was flavorful and fresh! The service was exceptional — our waiter checked in on us regularly, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I also enjoyed a soothing mint tea which was the perfect touch to end my meal.Although they have a beautiful bar area, I didn’t indulge in a cocktail this time since it was a Sunday afternoon — but I’ll definitely be back for a Saturday night experience! I also loved that they have a spacious room in the back for larger parties, which makes this a perfect spot for future celebrations.Highly recommend Nomad Tea Parlour for the food, service, and overall experience. I’ll absolutely be back again!
