★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I took a walk from the Hilton in Stamford and stumbled upon a gem! The beef empanadas were some of the best I’ve ever tasted with a perfect salsa accompaniment. I had the marinated pork and skirt steak combo. The pork is marinated over 24 hours and is melt in your mouth delicious. The steak was very good as well. Rice and beans beautifully homemade. They make their own corn tortillas as well and they are addictive. Portions were large. I couldn’t finish all the food. Fun and clean atmosphere as well. I will be back.
June 07 · gary fisherBE ADVISED STAY AWAY NOT WORTH IT.This place used to be the spot to go to to get really good food at an awesome price and for a good amount. I'm not sure what happened if it changed owners, but I would advise not to go there. Ordered take out for a few coworkers and I to have lunch. Spent $88+ on a meal that was not even full. As pictured they now ration your food. I understand times are hard and prices are up, but no reason to charge more and give you less doesn't add up. Didn't realize until after I got back to work. I called them up right away and asked how in the world they could charge $3.99 for 4 pieces of fried plantains. The manager told me that is what his boss told him to put on the plate. Your best bet is to give business to another restaurant like old house 2. Won't be going back there other than to get my money back.
August 23 · David MendozaCheck my yelp for this review. This place is outstanding!!! I’ve been eating here since the grand opening me. The Owner became great friends and I make sure I come in here 4 to 5 days out of the week. Yes I don’t cook at all so this place is Mi cocina!!!😂🤣😆
July 23 · Franklyn GrantStopped in here for lunch. Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Place is super clean and inviting. Food was amazing and fairly priced. I’ll be back again for sure.
September 20 · T TVery long delivery time and do not keep good records of their online delivery orders. Very difficult to communicate with them and not all items arrived once delivered almost two hours later. Overall bad service.
August 02 · Jessica CastilloSmall and cozy Peruvian diner with friendly wait staff who speak both Spanish and English, for those travelling from Latin America or Spain. Price range allows for just about any budget to enjoy a sizable and tasty meal. Comes together well for a family outing, as well as just grabbing a bite by yourself or with a friend.Drink options however, need to be expanded. Located in a quiet, idyllic neighbourhood, it wasnt so busy when I visited. Parking lot is small but there is definitely a lot of available street parking with good viewing thereof, from inside. All in all, a great experience for my first morning in Connecticut.
