★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1After a long day of walking around, we ate at ONGI for dinner. I enjoyed the efficiency of ordering, especially for the custom bowls, as you just mark the ingredients that you want. We got medium bowls, which includes up to 2 bases, up to 2 proteins, 2 sauces, and unlimited yummy toppings. On a very hot day, we enjoyed their self-serve lemon water, but they also offer some drinks. They also have charred buns, which look amazing, but I’ll have to come back to try them. Overall, I would highly recommend ONGI!
June 30 · Jackie CalhounI trust this restaurant 100%. I’ve been a huge fan since the day they opened. Don’t just believe the noise from the media or from a few bad-faith customers—go see it for yourself. They have a true open kitchen where you can see exactly how every dish is made. It’s incredibly clean, and nothing is hidden. You get to choose your food while watching the process. Thanks to them, I always enjoy a delicious and satisfying lunch. I truly appreciate it. I fully support this place. Go Ongi!

August 25 · nattha ChenThis is my first time eating here. I’m not from New York, however this will be my spot when I need to decompress and eat some Korean food. They have so many options to choose from; wonderful refreshments as well. I loved it!! I was able to customize my own bowl. It was really good y’all.
August 23 · Kaiyah TaylorI recently visited Ongi on Broadway, 37th Street in Manhattan with my parents who were visiting from Korea, and we had such a memorable experience! The first thing that caught our attention was the open kitchen setup. It was fascinating to watch the chefs create our customized bowls right in front of us. My parents really enjoyed seeing the fresh ingredients being prepared and assembled. We decided to try a few different options from the menu, and we were genuinely impressed by the quality of the food. Every ingredient felt so fresh, from the perfectly cooked vegetables to the flavorful proteins and delicious sauces. The balance of flavors and the generous portions made it a satisfying meal for all of us.Not only was the food fantastic, but the whole experience of watching the process added a special touch to our visit. It was fun and engaging, especially for my parents who appreciated seeing how their bowls were made. As a place to enjoy fresh and flavorful Korean food in Manhattan, Onggi definitely stands out. Whether you’re with family or friends, it’s a great spot to try something different and delicious.
