★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Loved the food!!! Everything tasted amazing & the vibe was so chill. I loved the mini octopus dish personally but mostly filled with vegetables. If you like lamb, you must try the galbi dish from the shared menu. The yogurt drink tasted like a lil dessert!
July 22 · Katieee BaeI tried some new dishes for the first time and it turned out to be such a great experience. I always love discovering new flavors, and everything I ordered was not only delicious but also really well-prepared. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the food here.I’m already looking forward to coming back — there’s so much more I want to try. If you enjoy good food and love exploring new tastes like I do, this place won’t disappoint
June 28 · Elise WhitmoreAfter this heavenly experience, fried chicken will never be the same for me.I'm someone who likes her fried chicken in the middle of to buns (don't judge me, I just thought it was better). But after trying this friend chicken by itself, I realized maybe I've never had proper fried chicken. We tried a couple things from the menu and don't get me wrong, they were all delicious, but there's a reason why this place is famous for the full fried chicken they serve.Definitely stop by Osamil if you're in New York and don't think twice before ordering the fried chicken, you'll look back and say: that crazy lady from google maps was right.
August 12 · Laura CapovillaMy first time dining at Osamil and my waiter was very kind and took the time to explain the menu and drinks. The food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect for hanging out with friends. Would love to come again next time I'm in New York.
June 21 · Emma AbrahamFantastic Korean food and drink experience at this modern and lively gastropub. For 5 years now, it's been one of my go-to restaurants in the city, and honestly, they just nail it every single time. It's that consistent quality in both their food and drinks that really sets them apart, which is quite rare nowadays. You can’t go wrong with the food here! Osamil offers a varied number of dishes - my favorites are shareable - all of which are very tasty and capture the true essence of Korean cuisine perfectly. My recommendations on food further below! As for drinks, the bar offers creative and eclectic cocktails with a Korean twist, complementing the bold flavors of this Asian cuisine perfectly. The open environment is quite lively but rightfully so as it’s quite popular. Despite this, the staff is always friendly and attentive. Expect a busy crowd so reservations are a must if you’re coming in a group.Whether you looking to try some great Korean food or try something new and be daring (why not, if you’re in NYC?) you can’t go wrong with Osamil. My recommendations for food:Korean Market Fried Chicken: An absolute must for sharing as you get the entire chicken. It's got that perfect crispy exterior giving way to incredibly juicy chicken inside, and the seasoning is just right!Pork Shank: Another shareable plate but if you’re like me and can eat a lot, take this on yourself! This is fall off the bone tender and packed with flavor. Comes with lettuce, an apple salad, kimchi, pickled radish and more. Ideal for lettuce wraps!
