### Introduction / Overview
In the bustling heart of New York City, finding a coffee shop that feels like a peaceful retreat can be a rare treat. Oslo Coffee Roasters, nestled on E 75th St, offers just that. This charming coffee shop is a beloved local gem, providing a cozy and casual atmosphere that stands in stark contrast to the city's fast-paced energy. As both a coffee shop and an espresso bar, Oslo has built a reputation for its high-quality, expertly roasted coffee, which is the star of every cup. The place has a distinct, trendy vibe while maintaining a sense of comfort that makes it a favorite among residents of the Upper East Side.
Oslo Coffee Roasters is known for its commitment to the craft of coffee. Their dedication is evident in every detail, from the carefully selected seasonal offerings to their "Brew Coffee Oslo Style" instructions, which empower customers to achieve the perfect cup at home. They feature a variety of single-origin beans, such as Sumatra Tano Batak and Panama Boquete, ensuring a diverse and high-quality selection for every palate. Whether you prefer a bold black coffee or a smooth, nuanced espresso-based drink, Oslo has something for you. Their black coffee is noted for its heavy roast, making it an excellent base for rich cappuccinos and lattes, while their iced lattes are praised for their perfect balance of flavors.
Beyond the coffee, Oslo provides a comfortable and welcoming space. The atmosphere is described as both cozy and trendy, a unique combination that makes it appealing to a wide range of customers. While seating might be limited, with only one table mentioned in a review, this intimacy adds to its charm, creating a quiet spot for reflection or a good old-fashioned newspaper read, like the New York Times they have on offer. The shop is also family-friendly, making it a good spot for kids, and they even welcome dogs at their outdoor seating area. Despite being a small operation, the quality of both the drinks and the service shines through, making it a highly recommended spot for anyone seeking a top-tier coffee experience in the neighborhood.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great iced latte, vanilla amount was just right. Smooth espresso, one size for iced only. Barista seemed overworked and she was alone, but was still polite. Cute place, coffee was a bit $$ with oat milk and vanilla both being an upcharge. Overall still recommended.
September 14 · Danny LevyCozy coffee shop with only one table. But such lovely place. I love their have New York Times on the table. Good old days! Black coffee is heavy roasted. It’s good base for cappuccino.
June 03 · The Foodie ArchitectCoffee and baristas are the BEST in NYC. I go extra lengths to be sure I have time to stop there every time I’m in New York!! It’s cozy, friendly, quick, fun and the coffee is perfect every time! Missed Jill one of our favorite baristas on our last trip but the person working was delightful and a pro. Look forward to my next visit!!
August 05 · Michelle Gloverone of the best iced vanilla lattes i've had in the neighborhood. there's nowhere to sit, service can be a bit slow and there will be a fairly large line on any weekday morning, but it's worth it for the quality. take it from someone who has had several bad iced lattes in the neighborhood
July 14 · Jenn TorreI spent $9.50 on a triple shot iced latte, but it was clear the shots were missing—the drink was basically just milk. When I brought it up, the blonde barista insisted it was correct instead of listening showed me attitude . Thankfully, another barista stepped in and fixed it. Disappointed, though—if you’re making coffee all day, you should be able to tell the difference between one shot and three. Not worth the hassle at that price.
