What is worth choosing
When you're faced with the menu at Parisi Bakery & Deli, the question isn't just what to eat, but what will completely blow you away. The answer, almost universally, is their sandwiches. These are not your average subs; they are culinary behemoths, packed with high-quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. The reviews speak for themselves, with many customers hailing them as the best sandwiches they've ever had in New York City. Take the Classic Italian, for example. It's a testament to the simple power of a well-made hero, featuring a perfect balance of cured meats, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, and a drizzle of oil and vinegar, all on a fresh, crusty hero roll. The sheer size of these sandwiches is a major draw. As one customer noted, a single large hero can easily serve multiple people or provide several meals, making it not only delicious but also an incredible value for the price. This generosity is a key part of the Parisi experience.
Beyond the classics, the menu offers a range of options that cater to different tastes. The Dennis with Roasted Peppers is another fan favorite, celebrated for its unique combination of savory roasted peppers and other fillings. The fact that the sandwiches are made to order, right in front of you, is a huge part of the appeal. It adds a personal touch and guarantees the utmost freshness. Another noteworthy aspect is the cash-only policy. While this might seem like a minor inconvenience to some, regulars see it as part of the authentic, no-frills charm of the place. It's a small reminder of a time when transactions were simpler and more direct. For anyone in search of a quick visit that results in a deeply satisfying meal, Parisi Bakery & Deli is the ideal choice. The combination of its legendary sandwiches, friendly service, and unbeatable value makes it a true standout. It's more than just a deli; it's a slice of New York's rich culinary history, and an absolute must-try for anyone who appreciates a great sandwich.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I ended up in Soho looking for some good deli places and after a quick Google search, I ended up here! It’s definitely more of a deli place than a bakery, however, their subs are so delicious!I ordered the Classic Italian and the Dennis with Roasted Peppers and they did not disappoint. I picked the large size (hero) and my family and I were unable to finish the whole thing!I waited in line for about 10mins as they usually make their orders one by one in front of you before serving the next customer. For seating, there is a small bench right outside the shop.Overall, wonderful experience!
May 20 · Sandra ChangThis is literally the best sandwich i've had in all of new york. Did I have to take a 30 minute detour? Because I didn't have enough cash, yes. It was totally worth it. This sandwich is so good, and so filling, and so with the price. You could literally share with a friend or have multiple meals out of it. I got the number two I will definitely be trying other ones off the menu.
May 12 · Anita K.Sandwiches to die for ! They are very large so one for two is enough. My favorite one is definitely the Denny’s with roasted peppers ! Service is great and it goes fast.
April 26 · guy estragonThe Dennis with roasted pepper or Italian are the popular ones. We got the Dennis. The chicken is hot and crispy. The bread was fresh, soft, and fluffy (not too hard, which imo ruins a sandwich). And they also load it up with fresh mozzarella, hot chicken cutlets, picked peppers, prosciutto, and a balsamic sauce.I split one with my bf and I was very full. Get the hero not the roll if you are splitting with someone.Btw this is more of a deli than a bakery lolCash only!! There’s a small ATM on the corner though
April 26 · V HWalked by today and knew the historic name.Went in and saw the egg & peppers on the menu. One of the best egg sandwiches NYC has to offer! Very big, at least 3/4 eggs, peppers were well cooked, roll was excellent.Terrific value for the cost!Everyone should try this place!
