What is Worth Choosing at Prince Tea House
For New Yorkers seeking a delightful respite or a top-tier dessert experience, Prince Tea House in Flushing is undeniably a worthy choice. The primary reason to visit is the perfect marriage of authenticity and innovation. The tea selection, with leaves imported directly from France and served in lovely heated teapots, offers a refined, authentic tea house experience seldom found at this price point in NYC.
However, the greatest draw remains the desserts, particularly the renowned Mille Crepes Cakes. These delicate, layered creations are a must-try, balancing light cream with subtle, sophisticated flavors like green tea and durian. Choosing the Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crepes Cake is essential for boba fans, a unique and unforgettable fusion dessert that is celebrated across New York City. The overall dessert menu offers high-quality, handcrafted sweets that justify the visit alone.
Finally, the value proposition is excellent. The Afternoon Tea Set, typically priced around $35 per person, is recognized by critics as providing "unbeatable" value for a full, traditional service in a major metropolitan area like New York. This, combined with the relaxing, aesthetic environment and the friendly, attentive staff, solidifies Prince Tea House as a premier dessert and tea destination in Flushing—an oasis where you can truly escape and indulge without having to leave the city.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I really enjoyed my visit to Prince Tea House in Flushing! The place has a very nice and cozy environment. It feels calm and relaxing inside, perfect for hanging out with friends or just chilling. The service was great—everyone was friendly and helpful. We ordered tea and French toast, and both were so good! The tea had a nice flavor, and the French toast was soft and tasty. The prices were also pretty good for what you get. I think it’s worth it. I will definitely come back again!
July 02 · Ana ZhengIt’s a very aesthetic place. The staff are really nice and attentive . They have great pricing. The scone was the best. I had the Scandinavian Detox tea , the molten lava cake, the green tea financier the fruit tart and the creme brûlée 10/10
June 14 · Aria GuatimeaWhen you step inside the restaurant they decorate it so nice like and it fits the name of the restaurant. We went to get their dessert and the two pictures below are the ones that stood out. We got the red bean brûlée. We weren’t sure if they red bean ice cream was going to be grainy like other read bean ice creams but it wasn’t but it did have small chucks (on purpose). The other one was an apple pie flavored ice cream and it was really good as well.
June 23 · Amber Knightalways my go-to spot for dessert and to catch up with friends. love how they serve their hot drinks in tea pots. highly recommend their purple yam soufflé and tiramisu!
September 09 · Cheryl WooThis was my first time visiting a tea house, and Prince Tea House definitely set the bar high for drinks and desserts! The atmosphere was cozy and charming, perfect for catching up with friends or just treating yourself to something sweet. We ordered the Rose Lover Milk Tea, Prince Fruit Paradise, and a Hot Chocolate. Each drink had its own personality, the rose milk tea was fragrant and creamy, the fruit tea was refreshing and beautifully presented, and the hot chocolate was rich without being too heavy. For desserts, we tried the Banana Cheesecake, Tiramisu, and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crepe Cake. The mille crepe cake was definitely a standout, delicate layers and the perfect amount of boba for a fun twist. The banana cheesecake was light and not overly sweet, and the tiramisu had a classic flavor done really well.If I had to point out one downside, it would be the service. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t particularly warm or attentive either. Nothing that ruined the experience, but it didn’t add to it either.Overall, I’d definitely come back, especially for the desserts!
