What is Worth Choosing
When ordering from Ran Viet for pickup or delivery across Staten Island, New York customers should prioritize the dishes that have earned the restaurant its sterling reputation for quality and flavor.
The absolute top recommendation is any of the Pho Noodle Soups. Customers consistently rave about the depth and quality of the beef broth, making it the perfect comforting and aromatic meal. The Special Rice Noodle Beef Soupâwhich includes brisket, omosa, and eye of roundâis a classic, hearty option. For those who want to customize, the menu also features a Create Your Own Pho option.
To start, the Summer Rolls (Gá»i Cuá»n) are a must. They are often singled out for their freshness and are served with a sweet peanut sauce. The Vietnamese Spring Rolls (Cha GiĂČ), whether traditional pork or vegetarian, are another excellent appetizer choice.
For those who prefer a non-soup dish, the Rice Vermicelli bowls, known as BĂșn, offer a cool, fresh contrast. The BĂșn Äáș·c Biá»t is the house special, typically featuring a satisfying combination of grilled pork, shrimp, beef, and a spring roll over vermicelli noodles. The portions are substantial, making these bowls excellent for a full meal.
Finally, for a quick and portable option perfect for a New York lunch, try one of the Vietnamese Sandwiches (BĂĄnh MĂŹ). The options, such as the Grilled Chicken or Grilled Pork Banh Mi, are served on a baguette with Vietnamese mayo, pickled vegetables, and cilantro, delivering a burst of savory, tangy flavor. Paired with a traditional Iced Vietnamese Coffee with condensed milk, itâs a perfect, authentic meal that truly showcases the best of Ran Viet.

Ran Viet Reviews
Came here for a quick bite. Food was good, place is clean, background music was quiet. All the pho was with beef broth (I would have liked a veggie one), I got the seafood version but only ate the shrimp (the mussels and squid did not look appetizing). The summer rolls were very good and my husband enjoyed his beef dish.We saw a few people picking up their orders and it does seem like the kind of place to order from, as opposed to eat in.Overall, good đ.
May 25 · Natalya PigulskayaItâs been awhile since Iâve posted anything worthwhile. The family and I had a wonderful day at the Jersey Shore with some good friends and family. On our travels back home we decided to look for a place to have dinner passing through Staten Island. My wife found Ran Viet and was craving Vietnamese food for along time, boy were we not disappointed. From the outside it looks like any typical eatery yet inside felt homey and relaxed. We were greeted by our host with a smile and good vibes. She was quick and very organized . Our order was taken and with a blink of an eye our meals were ready, they were plated beautifully and may I say the portions were huge, my take out was a meal of its self. The flavors and aromas just hit you like a flavor train. We havenât had Pho broth this good in along time. We are definitely adding this gem for whenever we pass through Staten Island itâs a place you just donât want to miss.
June 20 · Kenny MoonOne of the best and most authentic phos on the island. Broth is not from powder and it has no MSG unlike the other pho restaurants (may not be for some if you are accustomed to the other broths on the island). You won't be thirsty after eating this. The soup is very meaty and clear. The owner spends a lot of time removing all the gunk/fat. Nice cut of brisket as some pieces comes with the tendon. The large pho is LARGE. You know it is not operated by the Chinese when the authentic chili sauce is served. Extremely yummy and fresh chili sauce =]. Both the grilled chicken and pork was light and evenly grilled. Glad to have such a great addition to the Island.
June 23 · T LiOrdered a grilled pork vermicelli and a classic sandwich for delivery. The vermicelli noodles were cooked perfectly and the grilled pork was seasoned nicely. Truly appreciate the peanuts being on the side for the rice. However slightly disappointed in the classic sandwich I received as the Vietnamese ham looks and taste slightly like bologna.
April 23 · Zerlina Lin2024.03 2nd visit sit in. Super good Vietnam sandwiches, super fresh. If Pho soup is hotter will be better. Soup itself is on the light side, not heavy. It is my Style. Chicken wings also fresh and really juicy. Their home made appetizers sauce is great not too spicy. Vietnam coffee and specialty coffee are average.2024.03 the restaurant has nothing much to deduct at this moment. Reasonable price, food are fresh. Taste above average. Rice is really good. The rice itself. Friendly service and clean environment. Open just 2 months ago
