★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I absolutely ❤️ this place! The vibe is so cool, calm and the crowd's energy is on point. Best to RSVP for groups of 3 or more so that you're able to sit for 90 mins at a table with couches. The Music/DJs are unmatched! Didn't eat there, but the drinks are type pricey. Definitely a low-key place, that everyone may not know about which makes you feel like a celeb walking in. Lol
July 29 · Classic ClayThis is a great spot to sip on some thoughtfully crafted cocktails and listen to wonderfully curated R&B. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The crowd is LIC and Greenpoint but the menu prices are Manhattan. I felt that the drinks were a tad bit expensive but the experience at Record Room is much more about the music and the atmosphere. It is almost necessary to have a reservation especially on a busy night but it’s worth the experience especially if you love R&B and dancing.
August 04 · Matthew FrankowskiA great time! Staff and security was friendly. Greeted us with smiles and conversation. Very organized setup. They walk you to the room where the event is held. Drinks were $22+ minimum for cocktails. DJ and music was 10/10. The crowd was 30 - 40 years old. It was just a great time. Went on a Thursday night. Will go again.
September 06 · Lori-Ann BrownWent here last night. This spot is a 💎stunning aesthetics. Swanky ambience. Fantastic DJ (R&B theme was 🔥). Onto the drinks. Wow. This team is surgical with the cocktails. Each one carefully and expertly curated. The Old Fashioned was pitch perfect🥃Shout to the bartenders for some exceptional work! Highly recommend checking this place out if you are looking for a chic atmosphere with great drinks and lots of fun. 10/10⭐️
April 16 · Shakeya TurkCame here with the lady on a Saturday night in July, so you can assume all that comes with that. (A wait, bouncers who peaked on their varsity football team, too many people) and none of it mattered. The atmosphere is amazing, the drinks were solid, and the vibe seemed to only invite people with something to lose who have folks that love them. (Which translates to no nonsense.) That, combined with an amazing DJ, made the night memorable. Now, don’t go into this thinking you’re being treated like a pop star. Put your name on the guest list, walk to the bar across the street for cheap and strong drinks while you wait, and stake your place on the wall or near the couches and enjoy a couple hours of great music with someone or somebodies you love. I certainly did, and we’ll be back.
