★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1(4.5/5) - really great bacon forward sandwiches, they just need more bacon!!! BLT was especially good, the garlic mayo was delish it just did really linger afterwards. The breakfast sandwich was less impressive and it needed the bacon forward +$3. The tomato paste was good… that’s all. For $20? A bit pricy. Bread is fine but it doesn’t taste remarkably fresh or premium.I like this place for sandwiches but I am not sure I see the value for money. Sandos are a good size for 1.Staff are not terribly friendly - I got some unfriendly stares!Outdoor seating. They also have fresh pressed juices, hot chocolate, coffee, matcha, bowls, cookies, pastries etc
July 13 · Isabella GrandicI'm ALWAYS on the hunt for amazing hot chocolate. When I saw an article raving about the hot cocoa at Rigor Hill Market, I knew I had to check it out.Overall, my first visit to Rigor Hill Market was a letdown. The disappointing hot chocolate, the unpleasant sandwich I ordered, and the unfriendly service mean I won't be rushing back. Service with a side of annoyance 😒The person at the front counter wasn't exactly winning any customer service awards. They seemed genuinely annoyed by my order, and the whole transaction felt rushed and unfriendly. Not a great first impression, especially for a first-timer like me.To be fair, I did notice some healthy and refreshing-looking food options in their fridges. So, if that's your jam, maybe it's worth a look. They also have a small setup with a few stools and a countertop for eating. It's definitely a cozy, small space. In conclusion, there are plenty of other spots to try out in the city.
April 08 · Christinabobsquarepants2️⃣ visit: finally got their croissant! 🍫🥐Chocolate croissant was a classic but outstanding. The dough was pliable and crispy on the edge; chocolate filling was semi-sweet.1️⃣ A small shop for light meals, pastries, and some fresh products.Overall baked goods were tasty but slightly pricy.💛🧡✨Brioche cinnamon roll was highly recommended! It was light, flaky, and soft at the same time! Great flavor with nice sweetness.Pumpkin loaf was rich, but with an oil taste. As you can see it even turned the paper box yellow.☕️🥛Cappuccino was a classic! The staff was knowledgeable which was helpful!
February 19 · Julia HStumbled on this excellent bakery. Not listed as a bakery in Google Maps! Believe me: Rigor Hill Market IS a little bakery! And it is a great one! For starters I tried a muffin-like thing they call a cardamom-something. It think maybe it's a brand-new creation by them, because it is not yet listed on their website menu, and I don't remember the name. They don't call it a muffin, although it is a treat that is of medium muffin-size.Whatever it is, it is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Don't miss it! Incredibly, when you pull on the edges of the paper 'holder' of this thing, it AUTOMATICALLY FALLS INTO PERFECTLY SHAREABLE PIECES!! I have never seen anything like it. It's like a NEW INVENTION! Sweet, moist... spectacularly delicious...cardamom thing! And now, on to the GORGEOUS sourdough bread. So gorgeous, I took a picture. So pretty I wanted to embalm it to keep on display forever. But I didn't do that. Instead I ate it. And I'm glad I did because it has a delicious lightly-sour sourdough taste, and that wonderful sourdough texture of your dreams. A great sourdough bread. I predict victory for this bread at the Tribeca State Fair. It's way outta the way for me, but I will be coming back to Rigor Hill Market for another cardamom thing and another big sourdough bread
May 16 · Scott ShusterRigor Hill Market is a gem for takeout. Their sandwiches are incredible—always fresh, perfectly made, and packed with flavor. It’s hard to pick a favorite because everything I’ve tried has been amazing. Pair a sandwich with one of their fresh juices, and you’ve got the perfect meal. The juices are refreshing and made with top-notch ingredients, which you can really taste. What I love most is the convenience. It’s the kind of place where you can grab your food and head out, but if you have the time, their outdoor seating area is a great spot to sit and enjoy your meal. It’s simple, laid-back, and adds to the charm of the whole experience.Even though it’s a takeout-focused spot, you still feel a personal touch. The staff is always friendly and efficient, which makes the experience even better. You’re in and out quickly, but the food quality never feels rushed.Rigor Hill Market has become a regular stop for me. Whether I’m looking for a quick, delicious lunch or a fresh juice to keep me going, it always hits the spot. If you’re in the area and haven’t checked it out yet, you’re seriously missing out. This place is all about great food, great drinks, and a no-fuss, enjoyable vibe. Highly recommend it!
