★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1VERY cute and good food!! Top notch wines, and a big enough space but with great decor that everything flows nicely.Only hit for 4-stars was that their fryer was down when we went. Not a terrible thing but they meant we couldn't have the fries.... Or like 3/4 of the menu.No worries, still was terrific and great service!!
May 21 · Alex WalkowskiOnly joined for drinks, and relatively early in the night, but had a very nice experience. There's room to sit down, bartenders are friendly, and even a weekend happy hour! Cocktail menu isn't great (though the selection of alcohols is), but overall a nice place to sit down and have a few drinks.
November 13 · Drew SimonWe ordered biscuits and gravy. The gravy was different but good. The biscuits were raw. We were able to scrape the outsides off but the rest of the biscuits weren't done at all. Raw dough. I told the waiter who said "okay" and walked off with the dishes to bring back the check. We weren't offered anything else or even a discount. We had to get to an appointment so I didn't ask for the manager. If the manager reads this, you need better table and customer service. Things happen with the cooking and baking but our experience was not a good one. Also, ice water would be better served than warm water. The "American food" description isn't quite accurate either. Nothing is basic American. Check the menu.I tipped only because I didn't have time before my appointment to address the issues.
August 23 · Kala CWe were invited to a Birthday party at Roebling Tea room last week. I had never been so I looked up the space prior to attending. The reviews and pictures do not disappoint.Firstly it is a huge space, including a decent sized outdoor space. The decor is modern, rustic and dim (perfect for a bar/modern day eats setting).I loved that the bar was not crowded at all, even with there being so many people. There was still space to catch the bartenders attention. The birthday party had rented out the backroom. Cool space, could fit about 30 people give or take.Unfortunately we did not order any food just drinks. So this review is just on the service/space and drinks order. We ordered a few of the NOUVELLE VAGUE, JASZEK'S LAST WORD & FINE, GIRL.Each of those individually were absolutely perfect. They don't short on the alcohol to non alcohol ratio. They fill it up nicely, and don't pack it to the brim with ice. It was also really impressive how fast they whipped them up. The bartenders were friendly, funny and helpful with deciding what drinks to order. At first I thought the prices may be higher than average, but they're actually quite on point for what they are serving. I would love to come back and try the food and when that happens I'll update the review to include both. The pictures do look phenomenal.
April 23 · Rebecca AppelThough there were a total of 4 people inside we walked in and after looking around for a minute or two at three staff members I had to ask to be seated. It took at least 5 minutes for a waiter to come over and when he did he welcomed us with a swift, monotone, one-word question: "drinks?" I said water, she said coffee and with no reply he walked away. Someone else brought over the water. He came back 10 minutes later with the coffee..."ready?" I asked if the eggs Benedict came with Canadian bacon and spinach or just spinach, he replied "spinach or salmon". We ordered, food came, it was nothing to complain about, actually it was pretty good. He never came back to the table, had to walk to the bar to ask for napkins and the check. All in all if the food was incredible I wouldn't go back. It takes a horrible waiter for me to not tip 20%, I left this guy nothing.
