What is Worth Choosing
For any Westchester resident, Sal's Pizza & Pasta is worth choosing for its authentic, high-quality, and comprehensive menu that caters to nearly every Italian craving. The primary draw remains the pizza; from a simple, perfect Cheese Slice—noted by some patrons for its good crunch and flavor—to the diverse, generously topped whole pies, you can confidently rely on Sal's for quintessential New York-style pizza. The variety is a key selling point, allowing customers to easily transition from a classic Meat Lovers to a niche option like the Eggplant & Ricotta Pizza.
Equally important is the selection of Italian entrees. Unlike many pizzerias that only offer basic pasta, Sal's presents a full array of baked casseroles and complex sauces, such as the Pasta with Vodka Sauce or the Baked Ziti, making it a viable alternative to more formal Italian dining. For patrons with specific needs, the availability of excellent Gluten-Free Pizza is a standout feature, making Sal's an inclusive dining choice in the Pleasantville area.
Finally, the experience is underscored by convenience. The easy access via the ample parking lot, the multiple delivery and pickup options, and the dedication to being family-friendly—offering high chairs and a casual, welcoming environment—makes Sal's Pizza & Pasta a dependable and highly practical destination. It is the perfect place when you need delicious Italian comfort food, quickly and reliably, for lunch, dinner, or for your next catered event in the New York region. While a rare review might note a minor inconsistency in a specific dish like the pasta sauce, the overwhelmingly positive sentiment about the pizza and the consistently friendly attention make Sal's Pizza & Pasta a favorite that continues to live up to its reputation in Westchester County.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have tried the food twice in this place, the first time I had a good experience in terms of the food, this is my second time and it did not go very well with my order I ordered spaghetti Alfredo with shrimp, the food looked very good, but when I tried it it had absolutely no flavor and the sauce was very plain like water. The attention was very good on both occasions, I think this time there was a different person in the kitchen maybe, anyway I'm going to order once again to see how I'm doing on my last attempt.
March 15 · Leonela Bennetti FrancoSal's Pizza is our favorite pizzeria ! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu 😋 I just wish they sold Italian ice
September 26 · Quincie David (Quinn)Cheese pizza is ok. Crust is very good, sauce is okay and cheese is enough for the slice. Chicken bacon ranch pizza is pretty good. The toppings are not overwhelming but also more than enough is a good sense.Pizza is grab with bare hands no gloves and money is handled by the same person. This is why service is 2 star ... Poor hygiene.
August 01 · Vanessa Ffrequently gets orders wrong, hangs up on the phone when discussing it, and in person they don't care at all unless you apply pressure
July 10 · Arda KaracaPizza was good, Eggplant Parm great. Hero was one of the best I had around NY.Definitely worthy of a quick stop if driving through the Southern Hudson area.
