Their menu is vast, featuring classic pizza, a wide range of pasta dishes, salads, and traditional entrees like Chicken Parmigiana and Veal Parmigiana. They offer over 60 different pizza toppings and pies, including highly popular Sicilian styles, stuffed pizzas, and brick-oven favorites.
What truly sets Salvatore's apart in the competitive Long Island dining scene is its service model of abundance. Customers frequently note that the portions are akin to "family style," ensuring that no one leaves hungry—and most leave with leftovers. One particularly strong highlight that patrons rave about is the series of complimentary items that often accompany a dine-in meal, which may include fresh garlic knots, focaccia pizza, and sweet zeppoles for dessert, a delightful touch of hospitality. This commitment to value and a fulfilling dining experience is highly appreciated by the local New York clientele.
While the dining experience can vary—some event guests have noted service inconsistencies during peak times—the overall sentiment points to a place that offers exceptional food, value, and a setting capable of hosting special occasions. Dishes like the massive chopped salad "overloaded with prosciutto and fresh mozzarella" and the creamy Penne alla Vodka are often cited as excellent examples of the quality and size patrons can expect.

Salvatore's of Elmont Pizzeria & Restaurant Reviews
Can't beat the service amd portions. Need to remember their portions are like family style and they serve you complimentary garlic knots, foccacia pizza and zepoles for dessert and wine with the meal. Had the massive meal chop overloaded with prosciutto and fresh mozzarella. Excellent!! Could even eat the pasta and spinach sides. My friends had the pasta with Jumbo shrimp and Tortellini Alfredo...both took have home.
August 24 · Jimmy TimminsBeen dragged here 3 times (birthday party, christening, work dinner). All 3 times it’s been terrible food and terrible service. The place has a large outdoor space with tents. They attract people with their unlimited cheap wine just to follow up with a single occupant bathroom so you have lines of young and OLD people lining up inside a small pizzeria to use the bathroom.
September 21 · R (Kleft)After dining at Salvatore's a few times (not my decision) the food quality has become very poor. The service is the worst I have ever experienced. Your orders are mixed up, the orders do not come out complete, the waiters look dumb-founded to what tables the food goes to . Half your party will get the food the other half has to wait good half hour. Your lucky if you get your sides with your meals. Do not ask you if you want water, soda, coffee. The workers are definitely being overworked in that place. Not very sanitary , each time I have gone it looks less and less sanitary. Honestly I do not know how they are legally licensed to have going what they have going. It is a makeshift restaurant under tents. They are not equipped to have this sort of business going on. The bathroom, only one small bathroom in the pizzeria part of it with tons of customers. I cant see how they pass any sort of Department of Health inspections. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your money at this place. So many other good places to go eat at . I definitely will not accept any invites to Salvatore's.
September 21 · Jackie CasolaWARNING: Salvatore’s of Elmont Is Ripping People Off – Hidden Charges, Fake Prices, and Zero AccountabilityAfter years of dining at Salvatore’s of Elmont with our family and supporting what we thought was a respectable local restaurant, tonight’s experience was beyond disgusting — it was outright fraudulent. When our bill came, it had nearly $40 in drinks we NEVER ordered. Every single item on our check was $3 to $5 higher than what’s printed on their own menu — and to top it off, they added a random $9.25 “Supplemental Fee”. What exactly is that? Nobody could explain it — because it’s made up.I confronted Anna Cortesiano, the owner, about the blatant overcharges. Her excuse? “Prices can change,” she claimed — yet when I asked her to show me where that was written on the menu, she couldn’t find it. That’s because it doesn’t exist. She then blamed it on us supposedly having “old menus.” Funny — all seven people at our table had the same ‘old menu.’ When I asked to see this so-called new one? She couldn’t provide one — because it doesn’t exist either. This wasn’t a mistake. This was a calculated move to pad the bill and squeeze every dollar out of unsuspecting customers. This is bait-and-switch, plain and simple — and it’s disgraceful.Raising your prices? Fine. But do it honestly and up front. Don’t lie to loyal customers, sneak in junk fees, and then act like we’re the problem when we call you out.Salvatore’s of Elmont has lost our trust, our business, and any recommendation we’ve ever given to family and friends. If you’re thinking about eating here — don’t. Unless you want to be overcharged, misled, and disrespected.
