★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We ordered the premium omakase for $68 and everything was delicious! I like the pacing, the presentation, and the complex flavors that were involved in every bite. I especially likes the sea urchin, fatty tuna, and scallop. I picked this place because of the no tipping policy because it makes such a huge difference in the price! I would definitely go back here and I want to try the lunch!
August 24 · W EI went for the 12 course $38 lunch omakase and it was so good I immediately wrote this review.I was in and out under an hour, which is NOT a bad thing. Perfect for a lunch and still well spaced out. Almost every course was explained to me.Fish quality was absolutely phenomenal. I loved every single bite. Soy sauce and wasabi are pre applied and after your first course or 2 they ask if you would like any adjustments which was great. I also left the omakase completely full and satisfied. My cup never went empty once and service was absolutely fantastic and so friendly. It was only me in there for the lunch omakase, hope to see more people come for lunch.Tldr; great quality/service, fast lunch, amazing deal
August 01 · Ubaid TanveerYou must come here if you like sushi!I was blown away by the quality of the fish and services. We did premium omakase for $68 and believe it or not, they refused tip (no tipping policy) so I paid $68 plus tax, that's it!I am Japanese and let me tell you, the sushi chef did amazing for what I paid. I ordered hot green tea (free flow)Everything we had was so good!I would love to come back every time I come to NYC. They have three locations in Manhattan. You can make a reservation through Resy or just walk in.You need to try this Sushi W!
March 04 · Miho “Miholovestoeat”I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Sushi W, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best culinary experiences I've ever had. Everything from the moment I walked in was perfect—the ambiance, the service, and most importantly, the food. The sushi at Sushi W is nothing short of heavenly. Every bite was a delightful explosion of flavors that left me craving more. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the rolls were crafted with such precision and care that you could taste the artistry in each piece. It’s clear that the chefs here are masters of their craft, delivering food that is not only delicious but also a feast for the eyes. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. They took the time to explain the menu, offer recommendations, and ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was flawless. It's rare to find a place where both the food and service are of such high quality, but Sushi W has truly mastered the art of hospitality. The cleanliness of the restaurant also stood out to me. The environment was spotless, and every detail was taken care of, which only added to the overall experience of dining here.I will definitely be returning to Sushi W often, and I can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone who loves sushi, quality, and a top-notch dining experience. Whether you're a sushi enthusiast or just looking for an exceptional meal, this place is a must-visit ❤️
August 30 · Elli CherryCome here for price but left disappointed. Better off eating somewhere for a little more. Not sure which dish they served that I got my food poisoning from. They really don't know how to manage how much sauce and wasabi they put on.The shrimp nigiri had a good taste at the beginning but had an aftertaste. The sableeye fish was good with the torched finish. This is the only one I would recommend. But in my opinion, not worth coming back to this place for this. The unagi sashimi had decent size bones that hurt when I try to eat it. And texture is not quite there. Spitted this out.The 3rd fish of the day - Orata with lemon juice & kombucha powder had scales in it which I had to also spit out. This is good for the ones that aren’t so strict on tasting the actual sashimi, prioritize just saying they went to eat somewhere that serves omakase and focus on mostly socializing with their group. Can tolerate or like their heavy or overreliance on combination of sauce & wasabi to make up for the lacking in quality and handling of the food. There was also no decoration around that really make it feel like it is a Japanese omakase. Chef doesn’t socialize with the customers and they don’t really pay attention to each customer’s pacing. It’s more get in and get out.Restroom: Yes; no clear signage, nice size but would be a struggle to get to for those with wheelchair. No problem if you are on clutches.
