It’s a place where you can find the perfect combination of sweet and savory, offering a unique menu that stands out in the bustling food scene of Midtown. The atmosphere is casual and designed for a "quick visit," making it an ideal choice for a grab-and-go snack or a brief sit-down to recharge.

They are available in a range of tempting flavors beyond the classic, including Oreo, Matcha Crunch, Strawberry Crunch, and Toasted Coconut. These innovative toppings add a modern twist to the traditional dessert, catering to a variety of tastes. However, what truly sets Sweet Churros apart is its renowned Korean corndogs. These are not your typical fairground snack. As one reviewer passionately describes, it's a "street food dream come true," featuring "warm, stretchy mozzarella that pulls like a dream" and a "perfectly golden" panko crust. The reviewer's experience with the cheese-filled corndog, which was "so good on its own," highlights the quality and craftsmanship that go into each item. The combination of sweet and salty flavors, achieved through a light sugar dusting on the savory crust, is a signature element that makes these corndogs "impossible to put down."

What is Worth Choosing
Sweet Churros is a standout choice in New York City's dessert and cafe landscape for several compelling reasons. The primary allure is its unique and authentic menu that goes beyond standard dessert fare. While the churros themselves are "nice and fresh" and come with a range of appealing toppings, the star of the show is undoubtedly the Korean corndog. For a true taste of Korean street food, this is the place to go. The customer review that describes the corndog as a "street food dreams come true" with "stretchy mozzarella that pulls like a dream" speaks directly to the quality and unique appeal of this offering. The corndogs are not just a snack; they are an experience, offering a perfect harmony of sweet, salty, and savory flavors, along with a satisfying crunchy texture. This kind of specialized, high-quality offering is what makes a business truly memorable and worth seeking out.
The shop's commitment to creating high-quality, fresh food is another strong reason to choose it. The churros and corndogs are prepared to order, ensuring that they are served hot and at their best. This attention to detail is something customers appreciate and is a key factor in the positive reviews. The combination of a dessert shop and a cafe also adds to its value. You can grab a coffee or a tea to pair perfectly with your snack, whether it’s a chocolate churro or a savory corndog. The availability of a "Sampler Box" is a smart feature, allowing customers to try multiple flavors without committing to just one, which is great for first-time visitors or those who want to share.
Finally, the overall customer experience at Sweet Churros makes it a worthwhile destination. The staff is "very friendly and welcoming," creating a pleasant atmosphere that makes a simple snack run feel more special. The location in Koreatown is a hub of excellent food, and Sweet Churros fits right in, offering a convenient and accessible spot for a quick bite. Whether you’re a local craving a unique snack or a tourist looking to try something new and exciting, the combination of delicious, authentic food, friendly service, and an ideal location makes Sweet Churros a must-visit in New York City. The passion and quality put into each menu item ensure that you will be, as one customer said, "100% back for another."

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I got the Oreo Churro with Black Sesame Ice cream. The churro itself was nice and fresh, the cookies and cream complimented it really well. The black sesame soft serve was not bad, but could use a little more black sesame in my opinion, it was leaning a bit too much towards just a vanilla flavor. Also got one of the Korean Corndogs with sausage and mozzarella cheese inside and a potato crust. The potato added a nice texture and was extra crispy. They had an arrangement of sauces to choose from. I drizzled honey mustard and spicy mayo on mine!Overall decent snack for the price! The staff was very friendly and welcoming which is much appreciated!
May 14 · Emily ManI absolutely loved this Korean corn dog from Sweet Churros. This is street food dreams come true. From the second I took a bite, I knew it was going to be something special. It’s completely cheese-filled, no sausage, just warm, stretchy mozzarella that pulls like a dream. The outside, perfectly golden with that signature panko crunch that makes every bite ridiculously satisfying. You can literally hear the crisp when you bite in, and then you’re hit with that molten, melty cheese that just keeps going. What really stood out is how well-balanced it was. The sweetness from the light sugar dusting on the crust played so well with the savory richness of the cheese—it’s that sweet-salty combo that makes it impossible to put down. I didn’t even use any sauces, and honestly, I didn’t miss them. It was that good on its own. It’s simple, it’s comforting, and it’s everything you want from street food—hot, fresh, handheld, and ridiculously indulgent. Whether you’re a cheese fanatic or just looking for a snack that hits all the right notes, this one’s a must-try. I’ll 100% be back for another.
April 07 · Olivia KGreat Korean corn dog. I ordered the potato corn dog with sausage and mozzarella. Very delicious!
June 16 · Lindsay TaylorI’d first like to say churros are my absolute favorite treat! So when I saw this nearby I had to go!The market space is actually very cool and full of vendors with many different variety of treats and food.Sweet churros did not disappoint I got the variety box of churros because I just had to try them all.Points for being made right there in your face. They tasted delicious but were also a little too crisp and oily. I appreciated that they were coated all the way around but the ends were not which was a little disappointing as I wish the full churros would’ve been submerged in thé different toppings offered.I also go some matcha ice cream which was absolutely delicious and refreshing!I’d definitely go back because I am a churro connoisseur and cannot resist but nothing beats a Costco churro for me. 😅
August 08 · Jennifer DiazI think the videos and photos speak for themselves. The kdog options are regular, potato, hot Cheetos or ramen - inside options are sausage, cheese, or both. Yum! Churros are awesome too. Not to mention reasonably priced, I think I spent $13 total. Well worth a visit!!
