Tatiana Restaurant Introduce
## Introduction / Overview
For New Yorkers seeking a dining and entertainment experience that is truly one-of-a-kind, Tatiana Restaurant stands as a vibrant institution on the iconic Brighton Beach boardwalk in Brooklyn. This establishment is much more than a place to eat; it is a full-scale culinary and theatrical destination, celebrating the rich heritage of Russian and Ukrainian culture.
During the day, Tatiana offers a delightful casual atmosphere, providing a relaxed spot for lunch where guests can enjoy authentic cuisine with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Patrons can savor traditional Russian and Ukrainian specialties, with a menu that is an exploration of the region's rich culinary traditions, featuring dishes like homemade lox, various salads, and a full caviar selection. The restaurant focuses on quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation, crafting memorable meals for families and groups.
However, the restaurant truly transforms in the evening. Tatiana becomes a glittering, energetic venue, known for its extravagant, "Vegas-style" floor shows. These performances elevate a regular dinner into an unforgettable celebration, featuring dazzling dancing, elaborate costumes, and talented acrobatics. This dual identity—a seaside restaurant by day and a high-energy dinner theater by night—is what makes Tatiana a landmark in New York City's diverse dining landscape, perfectly suited for celebrating significant milestones and special occasions.

Tatiana Restaurant Reviews
I went to Tatiana for lunch and unfortunately had a very bad experience.I ordered the Pojarsky cutlet. At first, I was pleased with the presentation—the plate looked nice, and the portion size was generous. However, the moment I tasted it, I realized something was very wrong. The cutlet smelled like old lard(salo)and the inside seemed to be made of at least 80% bread and bread crumbs, with very little meat. I managed to eat only one of the two cutlets because I was hungry, but it was not good. The waiter was polite, but the payment process was very unprofessional. Instead of bringing me a bill, he asked me to look at the computer screen, requested I pay in cash, and automatically charged a 20% tip—then even asked for more. In the end, I gave 10% extra without really understanding why, since it all happened so quickly. The worst part came after I left. As soon as I got home, I developed severe diarrhea. The problem continued into the next day as well, which makes me suspect the food was not fresh or safe.⚠️ My advice: Please avoid eating at this restaurant—or at least do not order the Pokarskiy cutlet.
September 25 · Arlen ShumovI celebrated my 40th birthday at Tatiana’s and it was beyond anything I could have imagined. I grew up going to the original Tatiana’s as a kid, so returning decades later for this milestone felt really special and they absolutely delivered. The food was outstanding, the service was flawless, and the performances were unreal. Every detail was so thoughtfully executed. My guests and I were completely floored by the whole experience.Tatiana’s made my birthday unforgettable, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
September 29 · Gabrielle FishmanCame for an afternoon lunch. Service was great and very attentive. They let us sit at our table for a long time without rushing over to clear anything which was appreciated. The Greek salad was very fresh and lovely.
July 12 · Alyssa D.This is one of the very few Russian restaurants left standing in nyc that has a 5 star experience each time you go. Ive been to two birthday parties here with the banquet inside with live shows. Each time I have been here the tables and decor is beautiful, the service has been outstanding and the food was excellent from start to finish. You will get the full russian experience of a five course meal with cold cut plates, pickled plates, elegant french salads, bread and butter baskets and then mains of kebabs with fried potatoes, short ribs, shrimps, paella style rice and lamb chops. I also love how you can BYOB which is a big part of the experience. The drinks keep flowing with unlimited pitchers of russian fruit punch and sodas. I love the entertainment here, they have really good russian dancers who do a global show of can can dancing, tango and flamenco, ballet, folk dancing and belly dancing. I also love the way they sing happy birthday for all guests, you can so a group photo and the mc calls your group to light your candles. I love how the dj and live singers keep the party going all night with the latest hits that are russian american latino and jewish too(they also take any requests). I have easily partied here both occasions until 2 am, they know how to engage with the crowd and please everyone . Dessert is also included in banquet with fresh fruit coffee tea and pastries. I have not been a fan of their pastries thus far, theyve been dry and lack luster. I hope they can invest in more options like cookies and baked goods , not just some sad dry napolean cakes. Otherwise everything else has been tasty thus far.
September 20 · michelle grutmanFor a prime outdoor seating experience on the Brighton Beach boardwalk, this is the place. You can enjoy a Baltika or cocktail with unobstructed beach views, a rarity in this neighborhood for dining al fresco. While Brighton offers a plethora of fantastic Russian and Uzbek culinary options, the real value of this establishment lies in its unique real estate. Yes, the service can be a bit lax, but everything slows down on the beach.
